Since it's a beater, I'll break any knife after enough use. Makes me feel better to spend 30-40 and not be upset when it's destroyed as opposed to my many spidercos and more expensive that are scrap metal.

still for what this knife is at its price point, its worth it even if you get one with a less than stellar fit and finish. Kudos for the sharpening from the factory. It was excellent.

This knife would be way better without a crooked metal guard it really limits functionality.Material quality seems good so far.If OKC is going to sell this as a military knife especially for marines who are the first to go to battle at least focus on the edge more and make it sharp enough for him to use effectively it in battle.It is a good value just plan on reprofiling the edge when you get it

Very, very disappointed after reading how tough this blade is supposed to be. I don't abuse my knives. My Condor Undertaker Bowie has been through much worse and so has my Kershaw Camp 10. It did hold an edge well, delimbed branches fairly easy

I bought This to replace my Spyderco Emerson knife I lost. The blade is nice, the sturdiness is good. I like everything about it, except the hook for the Emerson opening is so much tinier the the spyderco one, it never catches on my jeans etc., and that is the whole reason I bought it

The blade is slightly crooked toward the tip, but you can only really notice it if you hold it to a light sorce and look at it closely. It's an ultimately negligible cosmetic flaw, but this is not a display piece. It is a pretty chunky piece of steel. I would say it almost feels like my machete despite the blade being a foot shorter

The knife is heavier than similar sized knives one side is solid stainless, but it's not burdensome. The lockup is rock solid, and the part of the frame that composes the lock is very thick. It's a good knife for EDC if you wear sturdy pants. Otherwise, it would be a great knife for the tackle box, tool box, or glove box

And it is heavy, not something I'd want dragging my pants down however it would be a handy tool in the woods but a little bit of a chore to carry. If I was a soldier and fond of big heavy chopping knives I would want this one. It's like a Smatchet with a better point. Where it differs is the grip

I purchased this knife not even a week ago and I was looking at it today when I noticed that in several spots on the handle where rust is starting to form I love this knife because it fits in my hand perfectly it is incredibly easy to open and close and over all the blade quality seems nice I just can’t get over how quickly the knife is rusting

Great bowie combat knife with a decent sheath. Came very sharp! What I don't like about it is the small smudge scarring on the handle. That is driving me nuts!
