I've swapped to full-time snowboarder about 2013 after mainly skeeing most of my childhood. I bought a K2 WWW in 2014 as my first board and in 2018 bought a Jones twin mountain as the WWW is a softer board and me gaining some experience needed something stiffer for the bigger, faster and harder slopes I was getting in to. I love my K2 for the butteryness and when feeling like a park day but it's time for an upgrade and addition to the family.

Want to discuss current trends? Board shapes, technology? Advice picking outerwear? Need info on traveling to Revelstoke for the first time? Or question about what board you should buy? For new and experienced snowboarders with any questions at all about snowboarding including gear, learning, what to wear, where to go, what terminology is rad, etc.  Nothing is off limits!  This board goes everywhere but it really does its best within the park because it's a true twin style board. The nose and tail are the exact same shape, it has a centered stance, centered side cut radius so when you ride it this way or this way it's going to feel the exact same. But it has something that I really love about freestyle boards, it has a camber profile shape, there's a nice arc to it so the center is actually raised up, it's quicker edge to edge, it has a great amount of ollie pop in the nose and tail but the contact points of the board are actually raised up just slightly so it's a little less catchy in those contact points so when you're landing or you kind of screw up in your landing a little bit you'll be less likely to catch your edge which is great. And then there's the 2x4 inserts, now a lot of people they don't really say that that's a highlight within a board but having 2x4 inserts instead of 4x4 gives the board a lot more stance options and park riders out there seem to be very specific when it comes to their widths of their stance as they should be

And the worldwide weapon, a lot of people think that it's a softer board, it kind of has been in the past but now K2 is kind of like realizing it's like kind of all-mountain abilities while still being a park board and it has a feel and fluctuating for 2019-05 so it's pretty sturdy actually so you can still rip it on groomers and it'll be stable at a lot higher speeds than it used to be in kind of like years past

 Hello, my name is Eddie Wall, we are in Revelstoke, Canada at Eagle Pass Heli and we just finished riding the Salomon Super 8. The profile of this board is something that Salomon calls their backseat camber, so it has traditional camber in the back of the board and then as it starts going towards the nose it slowly becomes rocker and then up into this giant nose right here. This is a directional board but as you can see the tail has a lot of kick on it so it is also going to be able to land switch if you want to do some freestyle tricks and things like that. You can also see here in these last inserts they have one set that is all the way back, so those inserts are going to allow you on a really deep day to get your stance all the way in the back so that you are not going to have to tie it out your back leg
