Juiced Scorpion X vs Rad Power RadMission

I can't say that I've really every gotten exercise on the scorpion and wouldn't suggest getting a moped like if you want the most out of pedal assist. As far as comfort, it's alright, but after a while of riding I do feel a bit sore, as if the cushion has sunk and I'm sitting on the flat piece at the bottom. Biggest issue with the moped like by far is weight, there's so much extra weight that it does affect the max range you can achieve. My e-mtb has gotten a lot more distance with a smaller battery

I decided on this model as it was the lightest I could find at any price range. I originally worried about it being single speed but this turned out to be a non-issue. I routinely ride hills up to a 6% grade without difficulty. Freeway overpasses are barely noticeable with assistance

the price is now 2199 bucks, though occasional sales could see that figure drop once in a while. For what you're getting, I have no problem with that ...

The RadMission has a city bike style with a less relaxed, more forward riding position that may not be for everyone. While simple, quiet, and low-maintenance, the single-speed drivetrain makes it a little harder to get going from a complete stop and is less ideal for hilly areas than bikes with multiple gears. Other than front and rear lights and an integrated bell, the RadMission is light on features, although Rad Power sells a number of aftermarket accessories to suit varying needs. Those gripes aside, we feel this is an excellent, reasonably priced option for the urban rider, commuter, or fun hog seeking a simple electric city bike
