But no face texture, and dead spots made this a retired paddle in my bag after getting the Amped S2. Selkriks aren't my thing.

My control of the ball is infinitely better than it was with my old paddle. And I can play longer because the lightweight materials it's made from saves my elbow and arm from tiring too quickly.

Carbon face very effective. Handle best texture, grip, and about 3/8" longer than previous 3 paddles feels like an extension of your arm instead of a tool. Have confidence your previously low percentage serves will work!

I wish the surface had more 'grip' so that spin could be more aggressive. It is possible all these comments apply just for me; other buyers may find it perfect for their game. It is not a bad paddle as such, just did not deliver on spin and power for me.

It's about mid-weight paddle, as mine weighs more than 7.7 oz, which doesn't feel ultra light but gives you power.
