Great tool

 Being able to grab onto something with parallel jaws makes for a much stronger grip. With a bit a of practice I've learned to grab onto a nut and quickly make multiple turns without having to readjust. The comfort handles seem effective and they still keep some grip even when oily.  But, there are a few things that could be better

 Also, the size markings on the sides of the pliers are just printed on - there doesn't seem to be any engraving, so I don't know how long those will last. Next, it's rather trivial, but the archaic/Imperial markings are on the wrong side - being right handed, it's awkward to have to turn the pliers over to find the inch markings. The button to adjust the size is awkward too - even a bit of oil doesn't make it work smoothly.

 Other than that, the tool as you can see doesn't look like it has been used. I don't see any wear marks or stains on the handle. You can see the oil on the tool. I am still going to do a replacement because I want to know if the replacement will have a box open

In summary I would say get the Ergo style grip for 7" and smaller sizes and regular grip for the larger sizes.

 I wanted to get these in 6" and went with the ergo grip and its just about perfect. The 6" and 10" are a great combo and very underrated - I can do just about anything with those two.  The photo with the hammer is for size comparison. The size of this tool is perfect for my tool pouch and lightens my load since I no longer need to carry both 6" and 8" adjustable wrenches. This Knipex tool does the work of both. This is a great tool for all trades

 The last con is that these pliers weight more then i would like, i only need a max opening of 7/8" so the smallest lightest plier wrench will work, but i need high leverage and the smallest wrench is to short to use the 7/8" size especially when the last person over torqued the nut. but i might end up buying one anyway and customizing it to be longer and have a lanyard hole
