 They have a multi groove ratcheting system which it allows real precise specific positioning and it feels really good and tight in there too. Another thing to note is on the pliers with the teeth. with the exception of the smooth jaw pliers, they have a right angle tooth design which is real good in all directions for bite. So here we have another piece of pipe and we'll go with the V locks and as you can see, just ratchet right in the place and right there

 you don't want to damage the surface. These come in really handy and then the GV ten. Ours are these straight jaw pliers. So and they all include the great lifetime warranty

These channel locks are very cool. They stay locked, never slip out. They are easy to adjust and the teeth are angled perfectly for precise gripping. BUT

I have totally converted from Channel Lock to Irwin for my adjustable pliers. One of the convenient features of the Erwin is that you can collapse the jaws without depressing the locking button.
