  STYROFOAM EVERYWHERE: Minor Complaint: Bench was packed in a good amount of styrofoam. Problem was, several pieces of the styrofoam were broken in half and jammed into the box as if to make them fit better. Of course, the result was hundreds of tiny balls of styrofoam all over the box and now all over my house. Nothing a vacuum won't fix but seriously, that seemed rather haphazard and a tiny bit inconsiderate of one's customers

Solid Build Good Design But a Problem w Manufacturer Assembly

 (I will come back and update my review if that turns out not to be the case.)  So, if you're like me and plan to work out with dumbbells and are looking for a bench at a reasonable price, then this is one that I can recommend.

 Here are the end caps that you'll bolt on so that the roller pads won't come off very easily. Here's the Olympic sleeve adapter and when I was putting together the IM2000 I mentioned how I did not like standard plate posts but I understand why they're there and it's simply for people who don't have Olympic plates. And here are the instructions which again iron master impresses me because they're very easy to follow and very concise. Here's the Iron Master crunch sit-up decline attachment

Part 1 - Ironmaster Super Bench Pro Leg Extension / Leg Curl, Dip, Sit Up Attachment Series

 So all in all I'm pretty satisfied with it, again the only downside that I've come up with so far is the height and width, and I think part of the reason they did that is, I'm sure it wasn't by accident, they didn't just accidentally make it too tall, I'm sure the main reason was they tried to make a bench that was incredibly versatile since they have all the attachments that they offer for it. So, kudos to Iron Master for pulling that off, I just kind of wish they had maybe some sort of built in option that kind of subbed in the place of the, as I'm using the yoga blocks. Other than that though, and yes, by the way I forgot to mention, you can do decline on it, the only thing is you're going to want to ideally have the leg curl set up which I think is like an extra 65 bucks, 70 bucks, so you can hook your feet in to really get proper security. Okay, that's it, that's all I'm going to say about the Iron Master Super Bench today, thank you very much for tuning in

 I got this about five months ago, I actually got it with my Iron Master Adjustable Kettle Bell there in the corner, which by the way I did a review on that, still love it. Iron Master hear really good things about them, that's why I decided to buy two products from them and I'm pretty darned satisfied with both of them. There's a few things I want to point out on this rig here, first of all it is an adjustable bench as the name entails. It will adjust anywhere from five degrees, let's see if I can get some crafty camera action here, five degrees, which probably wouldn't warrant the chair, the seat, which I'll show you in a second, all the way up to 85 degrees

 I mean, if you look at the prices of benches, yeah that Marcy over there, you could probably get that for, you know, $10 at a garage sale, and I'm happy to have it. But yeah, I wanted to get something that's going to hold up for forever, I hope, and it provided a lot of solid options, again you could grow a lot of different accessories off of this thing.  So that's the thing, so this bench is super, like the upholstery on here is very, very durable, it's very nice, it's comfortable, like honestly, I know you don't really necessarily buy a bench for its comfort, but it's really, it's just a really good job putting it together, but my thing I don't love about it is the bench is just a little narrow, and it's a little tall. So I showed you a couple of workarounds to get around, if you have a cheap Marcy bench like this, or it doesn't have to be Marcy, but just some cheap bench, if you're doing flat bench, you could either sub that in, for everything else, I use the Superbench. I use it for chest supported rows, it works great for that, incline stuff, it's just a fantastic little bench, I'm very happy with it. I bought the Superbench because of a lot of the add-ons that come with it

Ironmaster Super Bench Adjustable Bench Review

 And what I really love about this bench is the height off the ground is pretty much perfect. So some of my older benches, one was way too high at 21 inches and the other one's just right about 17, so this one comes in around the 17 inch range as well. But note that this is by far my favorite overall stability bench and height for bench that I've used to date. Now, before we jump into my pros and cons list, there is a version two of this bench that just launched and it comes with a couple of differences where one of them being it has the degree of angle you have underneath the bench where mine currently doesn't show that

 Now I come in at five feet 11 inches tall and this bench is perfect for me. I mean, perfect height and everything. The only thing that doesn't match my height is the seat height on the bench, which I will get into my cons as it is a little low. But with version two again, they are coming out with a new one, but I'll get to that later

 So for me, this weight capacity is way above what I need, which is great because my Nuo Bells are the heaviest dumbbells I personally own that together weigh 160 pounds. And with me at around 185 pounds, I'm nowhere near the max limit of 1000 or 600 pound weight limits. So the first iteration of this bench does have 11 different angles ranging from 5 to 85 degrees. And one unique thing about this bench is it has a detachable seat, so you can actually remove it from the bench itself and just have a flat bench if that's what you want to use or put it into one of the two slots to add a seat on it if you're doing something like overhead pressing

 The only thing that doesn't match my height is the seat height on the bench, which I will get into my cons as it is a little low. But with version two again, they are coming out with a new one, but I'll get to that later. However, everything else in this bench is perfect for someone who is five 11 or I'll just say around the six feet tall range. If you are shorter, this probably wouldn't be an issue either as it is a lower bench to the ground

When you compare price points for dollars spent only (690-710 range) the REP AB 5000 Zero-gap with its leg attachment and free shipping at $710 allowing for decline work as well and ab work and Nordic curls (more true to real Nordic curls than my GHD) to the SS Rogue AB 3.0 at $695 shipped, the added features and zero gap outshine the AB 3.0.  The REP AB -5000 zero gap, also stands upright, but interestingly is beautifully finished on the undersurface too

Rep AB-3000 - This was my first bench and it is fine. The decline sucks so anyone on a budget should just get the 3100 instead. Glad to hear they upgraded the material for the pad because the original was bad and I slid all over it. Would not recommend for anyone, the 3100 is a much better option and if you really want decline this one is disappointing and only adds bulk and weight

Prime Adjustable - This thing is just so well built, it earns its price tag. Everything about it is quality and what you would expect from a commercial type bench. The arm pads are great as a preacher bench and you can use them to do floor presses without having to lay on the floor. I rarely use the decline attachment but it is as solid as it gets

75 inches on this bench and that's really the optimal here, because we could get it smaller, but the problem is is, then you have to raise that hinge. The higher you raise that hinge the more of a problem you have of that hitting your tailbone. You can see, with other benches, that have a tighter gap that that is a problem, so we've completely eliminated that with the SI cap we have one other thing. I want to call attention to: is you won't, have a problem of your hands getting pinched there with the stand-up support we have designed it, so you shouldn't have any problem with your hands clearing that the padding density here is the same as our a/b 5000, which Is very dense

 That has a really high-end look and feel this is the one for you and when I say tank, this is 130 pound bench, but it is surprisingly easy to maneuver. Thanks to that large stainless steel handle on the front as well as a little lift off point. You'Re also going to notice a lot of design details here, such as those laser-cut degree markings in the ladder, as well as the wheel guards here that help prevent damage to the wheels. The padding is the same material that is on our FB 5000, extremely popular grip material you're also going to notice the steel is 11 gauge or thicker on everything very thick we've got

We got it down to 1.75 inches on this bench and that's really the optimal here, because we could get it smaller, but the problem is is, then you have to raise that hinge.  Now it works good if you, if you keep up on the on the bolt and you do the hack that i'm going to show you later it'll stay rock solid and you won't have any issues. But that's that's a common issue that i hear, or you know guys complain about. They say. Oh there's a lot of play in my bench and i've heard it with rogue too and usually it's that that bolt down there so yeah this bench here

 This is a this to me is a better bench in a lot of ways and it is more expensive, but for me it's worth it and if you just want to get one bench, that's going to do everything very well. This is the one to get for sure and it's an incline bench. It uses the same system and the same ladder system as the ab3000, the same as most of all, the the adjustable benches on the market. They all have a cutout ladder system

 We tried to pick stuff that, for the money made the most sense, you know it might not be the very best yeah, but spending you know two thousand dollars on a bench just doesn't make sense to me when you can buy one for say five or you Know five six hundred dollars, so that's where we're coming from with it with our gym, build and uh yeah.  I haven't had any issues with that. In fact, this is my favorite bench in the gym, and i know i just reviewed the ab3000 and talked about that as a great all-around bench and it has decline, but for me and for if you want to take it, you know spend a little more money. This is a this to me is a better bench in a lot of ways and it is more expensive, but for me it's worth it and if you just want to get one bench, that's going to do everything very well.  It had to adjustable. Her is where it stands out compared to my old bend it rather fast to adjust the bench. Where the Bio Dyne bend I had to pull a Pin to change the angle it just a second or two to adjust save time during my workout. Assembly was rather easy
