 The accessory box actually has a lot of parts, including an SSD mounting bracket, a power cable extension for the PSU, screws, and a PCI Gen 3 riser cable for the graphics card. So now to the assembly, I decided to reuse the parts that I already had in my Dancase A4, this being an even smaller case, all these parts fit in the ZX1. It's not a super recent build, and a Gen i5, 16 gigs of RAM, a 500 gig M.2 SSD, and an RTX 2070 Super, but given how hard it seems to get PC parts these days, I'm quite happy to have these on hand

 I was hoping I would have a bit of room left at the bottom of the case for an extra fan, but my cables take all the space. So these fans were sent to me by Arctic, and they're pretty nice. They're called the P12 PWM PSTA RGB, and as the name suggests, they're 120mm fans, they support RGB, and they're pretty quiet. I installed 2 out of 3 with the airflow direction going up so that hot air can escape

 So we have a small form factor computer case, the ZX1, and we also have a mechanical keyboard with wireless support, and they call this one the A80. To complete the build, Arctic also sent some of their latest fans, and while these are not blue, they do have RGB, and you can be sure that I'll set these to blue. Sounds fun? Well, let's have a look. But first, I wanted to personally ask if you could spare a sub

 It has a 4000 mAh battery too, so it will last for a while on a single charge. I personally haven't charged mine yet. Overall, this is a pretty cool keyboard, I would get it for its design and also for the 2.4 GHz wireless feature

I just picked up a Ghost S1 but I’m hesitant to keep it as I’ll be mounting it under my standing desk (so paying $300 for beautiful case that isn’t super noticeable seems silly), and I’ve read people run into thermal issues with the case. I know there are some solid thermal management solutions such as adding small fans to the top and exhausting the top/bottom and intaking on the sides, but are those solutions comparable to just getting a different (probably cheaper) case?

I love the FormD T1 but that won’t be back in stock for months and I’m not paying $600 for a case on eBay. Are there any alternative SFFPC cases I could look into the meet my criteria? Also, I’m not very interested in adding a top hat to my Ghost.

Edit: thanks for the suggestions everyone, there are some great cases out there, but they’re all relatively new/obscure, and this being my first SFFPC I’m going to stick with the Ghost S1 almost purely because of the documentation and support available.

Airflow-Focused Sub 10L Cases?

 Something else that's really important to note is that unless you're using braided cables, which are a lot more malleable than stock plastic cables that typically come in the box with PC parts, you probably won't be able to fit a fan underneath the power supply. It's just too crowded with stock plastic cables, and most of the builds with this case that I've seen on Reddit are all using fabric braided cables, which allow for much easier cable management. In fact, the clearance between the GPU's PCIe 8-pin cables to one of the radiator fans is almost nonexistent. I think I managed like maybe a millimeter of clearance after putting serious stress on the cable connectors

 So yeah, I really dig this case. It looks clean, feels high-end, and would look awesome on any desk. But as I pointed out, there's obviously some room for improvement. That said, for their first case, I'm pretty impressed

 It still fits with the side panel on and doesn't affect anything. It's just annoying to look at. Like, they could have placed a slot just a millimeter or two closer to the side panel to compensate, which would have provided the clearance needed for the GPU to sit totally flush against the back. Alright, let's talk about thermals

 There is another spot on the side of the center tray behind where this PSU sits, but that's more for the air cooling version with more clearance for where your GPU sits. So, I don't know what the hell you're supposed to do with that unless you want to install some tiny Wecast single fan or blower style ITX GPU. Either way, if you didn't want to mount an SSD under the PSU, you could always throw in a 120 mil fan there, which you'll probably want to do if you're building a gaming PC, and I'm betting most of you are, in which case, you'll be happy to know there's about a quarter inch of clearance for some decent airflow. And speaking of airflow and keeping in mind that by nature, ITX cases are pretty restrictive to begin with once all your components are installed, but the top, bottom, and sides are all quite open and unrestricting, so you'd think it should do okay, but we'll be testing that out shortly

Ultra Clean mini ITX Case - IQUNIX ZX-1 Review

 It's a 10.6 litre small form factor case that supports 240 mil AIOs. So let's see what makes this itty bitty little case tick. Let's jump in

 $269 US dollars, I don't know if that includes tax and shipping and all that, I'm guessing it's not free shipping but, but that's on sale at the moment, but what's the non sale price? The non sale price is $319 US dollars, not on sale, $269 on sale. So yeah this video is obviously not sponsored by iQunix, it's quite an expensive small form factor case but at the same time let me just rephrase that, every small form factor case is expensive but the build quality materials of this may or may not justify that for you. So yeah at the end of the day I think this is a very very well executed small form factor case. This is going onto my list of some of my favourite small form factor cases now

 It's got those nice sleeved cables and all that jazz yeah and that's basically it for the parts. I'll put a PC part picker list down below if you want to see what everything was that I didn't mention in the video but that's basically the whole deal. Okay how is this case to build in? Look how clean that is like it is exceptionally clean even when you see things like it doesn't look like the AIO tubes are going to fit in here, they fit in perfectly, the gap up here for them is perfect to run through and I just feel like iQunix has put quite a bit of thought into this whole design

 So the cooler I have with the tube length that I have, I prefer doing it the other way for the routing towards the bottom because that way it didn't kink the tubes quite so hard. For a graphics card of this size, unfortunately, for it to fit, I did have to change how I routed those tubes and you can kind of see it here that it's a little bit like, which I don't prefer, but to make this work, that's what you have to do. Something to keep in mind, everybody is going to have a little bit of a different experience with that because how you mount the water block, the exact length of the tubes varies a little bit from all-in-one cooler to all-in-one cooler. But to get to the main part of the story, I am digressing here a little bit, is that it's this width here, the height of the car, that's the problem because originally I tried the 6800 XT and this particular Asus TUF gaming model has this, shall we call it, protrusion on the fan shroud here, looks very cool, you know, makes it look real tough, but because of that extra width, I could not, for love or money, get this card into this case and you can see from the battle scars right here that I tried, oh my friends, let me tell you, I tried so hard to get this card into this case, like I tried wiggling through the front door, or sorry, the front panel opening, I tried, you know, maneuvering it like this way and like trying to squish it back this way, I even took out the riser cable, unmounted that, plugged it in, plugged this into the riser cable's PCIe slot first so I could, with the hope that maybe I could kind of wiggle it in, get it down and then like remount the riser cable because my biggest problem was like trying to get enough maneuvering room in here so I could actually sit this card into that slot, nothing worked, I eventually had to admit defeat, it was a sad, bitter moment for me

 You've got the silver, as you see here, and then you have an all black variant as well. These cases, or this case I should say, are made out of aluminum panels on the outside and then you've got a steel chassis on the inside. So when you are picking a card and if you are going to be looking at cards of this kind of heft, definitely pay attention to these kind of details about how much room it takes height wise because you are going to be looking at a thick card regardless so that already reduces your maneuverability so don't make it even harder for yourself or impossible because you've also taken off what remaining space you have to wiggle things around. So the best summary for this case is actually something that my past self left in a note to my current self and I'm just going to quote it directly

 So let's talk about the good. The case is extremely easy to handle. All of the exterior panels are toolless with those Lian Li pushpins and thumb screws at the back. And everything that is attached to the frame has the same screw, avoiding any confusion when it comes to building the case back together

 And the side panels are not a significant barrier, as you can see. On the GPU side, it is also very well controlled because of the exhaust. So no heat gets trapped inside that GPU chamber. And this is really impressive because the case is tiny and all the cooling is achieved with those two 120 millimeter fans

SO CLOSE to Perfect - Lian Li x DAN A4-H20 Review

 And I think the timing here is absolutely perfect. There is no other case right now that can fit these components in this size. The NCase M one is a little bit bigger, and the Form T one is a little bit smaller, but both are just unavailable. The new A4 H20 fits right in between those two legendary ITX cases, both in terms of size and hardware compatibility, but it's quite a bit cheaper and will actually be available to buy

 Now as a point of reference when we drop in the RTX 2070 Super Founder's Edition and compare that to the rest of our test data, performance is pretty good overall. It's two degrees better than the Form T1 when both cases are running a top-mounted 240mm AIO, and only a few degrees warmer than one of the highest airflow mid-towers that you can buy at the moment. All in all, it's about the kind of GPU thermals that you'd expect coming from a Dan case of this size, and all of the cases that it's beaten by on this list are in fact larger cases, so do keep that in mind. As for current Founder's Edition cards like the RTX 3080, that would also be a good pairing here for the A4 H2O, but you would need to install the included standoffs for the riser cable

 So overall, pretty impressed, and I would say that this is one of the best ITX cases that you can buy at the moment, alongside the Meshlicious and the NR200P Max. Those are slightly bigger cases, in some people's eyes they are considerably larger cases, but this is as small as I would recommend going if you're also considering the sizes and the thermal constraints of modern hardware. So if you're considering a three slot GPU, if you're considering an i7, this is about as small as I would recommend going. I would especially recommend this case if you're not going super crazy with your components, so 12600K, RTX 3070, that would run pretty much perfect here in my opinion, and up to a 3080, 6800 XT would also be fine, but there you definitely want to go with a big cooler design and maybe even consider undervolting

 And to be honest, I think this is about as small as you can make a PC case today, while still retaining the full hardware compatibility and thermal performance of modern high-end components. We're talking huge 3-slot graphics cards and support for 240mm liquid coolers, all in a PC case this small. And I think the timing here is absolutely perfect. There is no other case right now that can fit these components in this size

Tiny Case with Perfect Fitment – Dan A4-H2O

5-by-12.8-inch patch on your desk. The box has a similarly diminutive under-10-inch height. The biggest surprise, though: This Mini-ITX chassis lets you pack some very serious componentry in a seriously small space

Mind you, we won&rsquo;t be blaming Corsair for having noisy fans, as most people won&rsquo;t be using this case with an overclocked processor in our extreme test conditions: while running Prime95 small-FFTs and FurMark simultaneously. These particular fans are also known for winding down nicely when less-stressed systems are configured with automatic fan control. This is just a (very) worst case scenario.

But get the right mix, and this chassis will vie with the Streacom DA2 V2 as one of our favorite Mini-ITX chassis for tricked-out builds. And it won't cost you half of what the DA2 V2 will.
