If you don't need the best picture quality and features, there are a few cheap 65-inch TVs. The Insignia NS-65F501NA22 is one of those cheap TVs that costs less than the Hisense U6H and is okay overall. As expected for a cheap TV, it doesn't have a local dimming feature to improve its contrast, but it still looks good in dark rooms thanks to its excellent native contrast. It's better than most cheap TVs because it uses quantum dot technology to display a wide range of colors in HDR, the same technology that even the high-end Samsung QN90B QLED uses.

It's a good TV if you want to stream your content and don't want to spend extra on an external device. It has Fire TV as its smart platform, which has a ton of apps you can download, and the Alexa voice assistant feature makes it easy to open apps. If you aren't a fan of the Fire TV platform, the TCL 4 Series/S455 2022 is another decent cheap TV with Roku, but it has worse color accuracy and doesn't look as good overall.

Insignia F50 Series QLED - 55" - Unboxing & Setup! (NS-55F501NA22)

 Hey there guys, welcome back to another video. In today's video we're going to unbox and set up

 this Insignia Fire TV. This one is the F series and this one is a QLED, probably the cheapest QLED

 I've seen. So I got this for $379 plus tax. So let's go ahead and get into it.

 So as you can see on the box here, we have the F50 series, QLED, 4K of course, Dolby Vision,

 and DTS HD. We also have the You Know Who button on there so you can ask your questions.

 And this is the 55 inch. All right, and on the back of the TV, the box here actually has a lot

 of information here. So it tells you the actual specifications of it. So if you are interested,

 you can pause this here. It tells you how large it is and its specific dimensions. We do have

 four HDMI ports on this total, which is nice to see, as well as of course your composite AV,

 LAN, coax, optical, and all that good stuff here at the bottom here. And we'll go over that once

 I actually get this out of the box here, but you can see our features. We have 4K resolution,

 60 Hertz panel, four HDMI, one ARC, one composite input, one digital output, one antenna cable input,

 one headphone jack, one USB, 802.11 wireless. It's not specific on what it is. It is an LCD

 display with direct LED backlight. It includes the voice remote with You Know Who, AAA batteries for

 that stand, quick setup guide. And then we have our specifications here. All right. And here are the

 contents when you first open the box. So you get a child safety guide, you get the remote here,

 and it looks very similar to a traditional Amazon Fire TV remote. I have one here. So if you're

 curious about the difference. So it is actually a little bit bigger, surprisingly. We do have our two

 stands. We have the power cable. We have our screws for the stands, as well as batteries and our quick

 setup guide here. So this applies to the 50, 55, and 65 inch TV. Right here is our power cable input.

 We do have VESA mounting holes here on the back. We do have some bottom facing ports here. So we

 have your ethernet, we have your RCA. So we have the yellow, white, and red coax, and then one HDMI.

 And then we have the rest of them facing the opposite side. So you do have a audio out, so

 you can put headphones on this, which is nice. You do have the optical out, and we have a USB,

 as well as three HDMIs, one of which is an ARC port. All right, our stands are using a Phillips

 head screw, and the longer portion of the stand feet actually go out toward the front. So that's

 just to give you an idea of how that's going to look. And in addition to that, I just want to

 mention there is a button on the bottom of the TV, so it looks like it may just be a power key,

 though. All right, so we got it plugged in. Let's go ahead and turn it on for the first time.

 Now, this being a QLED TV, it should be super bright, which I can tell you it already is. And

 I'm pretty sure it's going to be very impressive for the price, because usually QLEDs are very

 expensive. And I did miss some of the tape at the bottom there, but I'll get that taken off in just

 a second here. Just want to show you the boot process here. So you have the Fire TV animation,

 Fire TV Edition. All right, it's asking for the length of the TV, and it's asking for the length

 of the TV animation, Fire TV Edition. All right, it's asking for the language. So we'll go ahead

 and hit English. All right, it is, if I can continue restore use, you agree to Amazon's

 conditions of use. So we are going to do continue. So it's for home use or store use. We're going to

 do continue for home use. It's going to scan for Wi-Fi. We'll go ahead and connect to that real quick,

 and I'll be right back. All right, as soon as I connected to Wi-Fi, it offered to update. So

 it's now downloading that in the background. All right, and after three updates, it actually was

 back-to-back updates. So it rebooted itself, and it did that three times. It took a little bit of

 time. We're finally here at our experience selection. So you can select the full experience,

 and this is recommended, where it will offer you live TV, thousands of channels, apps, and

 you-know-who skills, over one million movies and TV shows, voice control and search, and sign in

 and sign up for an Amazon account. If you choose basic, that will allow you to use live TV and

 five streaming apps. So only five. So you have Netflix, HBO Now, Sling, Prime Video, and Hulu.

 So if you have those services, that's fine, but if you wanted any of the other ones,

 you'll have to use full. So you have to have choice at least, but limited choice.

 All right, so now we're going to go ahead and sign into our Amazon account,

 and they make this pretty simple. So you sign in using your Amazon account at Amazon.com slash

 code, and you type in the code, and it should go ahead and sign you in without you having to type

 in your full email and password. So now it's coming to a screen where it says restore Fire TV. So if

 you had a Fire TV stick before, you can actually restore from it, and you won't have to do any

 further setup. So that's going to be pretty nice. So you can also skip this if you want to start

 fresh. Otherwise, it will bring you to the brand new setup. So I will go ahead and restore from here.

 So as you can see, it's named the Fire TV stick that I had. So let's go ahead and choose that,
