If you want a basic option, a cheap TV like the Insignia NS-50F501NA22 is a good alternative to the Hisense U6H if you want the best 50-inch smart TV at a low cost. As expected for a cheap TV, you lose out on features and performance, but it still offers okay value for a low-cost model. What makes it better than other cheap TVs is that it uses quantum dot technology, similar to the Hisense U6H, to display a wide range of colors in HDR. It uses the Fire TV smart platform, which is user-friendly, and there are a ton of apps you can download, making it easy to stream your favorite content.

Like the Hisense, its native contrast ratio is excellent, but it doesn't have a local dimming feature to further improve the contrast. There are also a few drawbacks with this TV as it has problems properly upscaling lower-resolution content from DVDs, so if you watch a lot of this format, it's better to go for a TV like the TCL 4 Series/S455 2022. However, it costs a bit more and doesn't get as bright as the Insignia.

 I’ve gone through a ridiculous amount of batteries and thought I was maybe doing something wrong (??) but I did some digging and it looks like a lot of people experience the same issue. I do not have an Alexa and I don’t utilize any of the Alexa features with this remote or tv, so there is no reason for the batteries to be dying at such a rapid rate unless it’s somehow recording me constantly anyway. Again, nice tv for the price. I just can’t use it because this horrible remote is constantly dead

Just overall blooming is better, but samsung's. Anti-Reflective coating, which i failed to mention earlier, helps from viewing at an angle and it really knocks down the reflections of light better than any other brand in the tv world. As you can see here, this light is being dominated by the samsung coating and with the brightness added in it's just no contest

 What'S going on, i think this is just another sign that samsung continues to find ways to make it easier on their bottom line instead of for their consumer, but they do have the screen covered with a plastic layer to protect in case it gets scratched before or After you open the packaging - and they have done this on some tvs last year, but they should have it on every tv. In my humble opinion, one thing that i think is an easy win for samsung in 2021 is the new remote. If you have followed me before, i've always been a fan of the samsung remote and the apps on this tv, so that bluetooth, remote over the past four or five years, has been one of my favorites and this year it gets even better. I have a new samsung 65qn90a, and the refresh rate appears much lower than I'd expect. There's very noticable judder in certain scenes on the panel with both the internal apps and when using an external fire-stick.

 the tv gets it wrong. period. the sound passthrough also pops consistently. i don't recommend this set

  the contrast in these highlights fall short of the hdr capabilities of the television and look horrendous.  i'm watching films i've shot on apple movies, and amazon prime apps. the tv gets it wrong. period

As a filmmaker, I recommend you skip this set.

49" screen size: I have an autonomous 53" inch smart desk and this monitor took half the width of the desk. The viewing distance was too close for me. I did manage to find a way to put the PC case down using an under-desk mount and also increased distance by using under table keyboard tray but the viewing distance was not per my liking. The screen size is too big and I had to move my head constantly between the two ends of the monitor and I did not find it to be a pleasing experience

Samsung Odyssey G9 Experience

 Paid extra to get a sound bar that helped, did not fix. Finally got it synced when I turned off Dolby sound. You need to fix this.

Good tv, horrible remote

 The remote is easy enough to navigate to what you want.  Initial setup was very easy and basically plug-and-play. There are eight screws for the display stand, all the same size. This model is on the heavier side

Excellent performance in visibility. The resolution in performance is impeccable. The warranty provided by manufacturers out compete its competitors in the industry.  Remarkably in overall performances is essential in making the decision to like the product

The product is credible

 There is an untenable noticeable lag between the sound coming from the needle and the sound through the system. This seems like such an easy fix in the manufacturing for a top end system.  Next, why is Timeshift not supported in the US and Canada?!?!?! I want to pause live OTA broadcast. I have a 1TB external hard drive
