I use the Ikea Malm dressers to line the bottom of my closet and it makes it look like I have built ins and gives me a ton of storage for clothes. And you can pick them up cheap sometimes on FB Marketplace already built/gently used.

Affordable closet organization suggestions? I have space for all my stuff, but the plastic drawers I got for temporary organization after moving in aren’t sufficient and don’t open and close well anymore. Probably need a closet system to maximize the space, but don’t want to spend $2000 on one.

I hate the Malm bed we have, it takes up way too much space and you have to climb over this wide platform to get out of bed. the mattress does not stay in the middle. They had a very sturdy line of metal beds at one time, I got a used one for my youngest for $50. If you end up with an ikea bed frame, you will need and Ikea mattress because they are not exactly standard sizes

I found Malm in white and I can live with that (I’d prefer white oak, but it’s out of stock). Can you use a box spring with that bed? Is the quality okay (for ikea)?

I have other Songesand furniture for another child and I’m not thrilled with it. I have a drawer that clicks. Is it just mine or what’s the quality usually like with that line?

What’s your favorite bedroom line in something light in color? Which line is the best quality for IKEA? What’s next best, etc? Give me all of your ikea opinions please!

I want to repair it but I'm mixed between two options ... 1) fill it with wood glue or 2) use the holes that are placed above the regular ones. These holes are present above all drills in the bed.

Malm bed broken :(

 The only type of bed frame I can use with mine is one with one cross beam to keep its shape that fits between the legs of the adjustable base. So it's basically a frame that surrounds the adjustable base, and holds up the headboard. The malm looks like it has too much support inside, even with the drawers removed? Definitely can't have the drawers under there at all.

Does anyone have this combo who can tell me what they're doing?

I would prefer to keep using the Malm with it's drawers if possible since we store a lot stuff in them.

I just ordered a Thuma bed frame late Sunday night and got a notification that afternoon that it had shipped. Pretty fast, in my opinion! I think they had some supply chain issues early in 2020 (as many companies did thanks to Covid) but it seems they’ve worked that out. Haven’t had any interaction with customer service yet and hopefully won’t need to, but so far my experience has been easy and painless.

I just placed an order for a Thuma bed frame after spending a few weeks weighing different options, but now that I've placed the order I'm second guessing myself - maybe it's confirmation bias, but I feel like I'm seeing an overwhelming amount of negative comments on their shipping and customer service from over the past year. Not much from the past 3-6 months though. Has anyone had recent experience with Thuma, and how did it go?

  We tried the luxury firm.  It seemed like perfect compromise.  In between the winkbed and Aurora.  Reasonable priced

  Super expensive for a pillow (I was able to get an additional $25 off thankfully) but totally worth it.

My quest for a comfortable sleep. Ended up with Luuf mattress / Thuma bed / Purple pillow. 2 months in.
