 Sean Sewell with InGamert.com. This is the Icebreaker Men's 200 Oasis Long Sleeve Base Lair.

 I've had this since we met with the Icebreaker back in the fall, so I've tested it,

 washed it for the last four or five months, and so in this review I'll go over the fit,

 features, and functions, as well as my thoughts on it. So let's get into it.

 First and foremost, start with sizing. I'm six foot one, 210 pounds, 45 inch chest,

 33 inch waist, 36, 37 on the arms. This is a men's extra large. As you can tell,

 it is a trim fit as a base layer should be. The length in the arms is adequate. I would love for

 another inch or so, but I have slightly longer arms, and the torso is just adequate as well.

 Usually I wear bibs when I'm touring, so these are my bibs, and I tuck it into the bibs and it

 stays in place no problem. I like that they're trying to make a sweet spot here as far as good

 base layer. Fit and function is nice, but you can also wear it out. Like today, I'm heading out to

 Every day I wear merino, whether it's new yarn or regular merino or yak wool, whatever it is.

 You can see the dozens and dozens and dozens of reviews on our gearment YouTube channel,

 as well as in gearment.com. To go over all that merino, this is a 200 weight. I classify 200

 weight as a mid weight. I often will use a 150 weight, which is lightweight, very lightweight

 for a base layer. And then all the way to 300, 300 for my casual, my Walter Sky hoodie that I've

 been wearing every day for two years since it came in is 300 weight. It's a very substantial weight.

 So 200 is right in the middle. It is about as far as I would push for backcountry use. I do run warm,

 so your mileage may vary, but I like to have a lighter weight, more breathable base layer.

 Not that this is not breathable. It's merino wool. It's very breathable. It's just the thickness of

 the material is on the cusp of what I would use for backcountry skiing and split boarding. Again,

 your mileage may vary. That is to say, if this is being used for resort skiing or snowboarding or

 snowshoeing or winter use, this is going to be really ideal because it's going to keep you warm,

 but be breathable. In fact, I've been wearing this nonstop for a day. Like I said, I'll be

 wearing it for the rest of the day, doing all kinds of activities. It has you covered there.

 The denier of the material is 18.9, so 18.9 micron, which is soft. There is a slightly lighter. I've

 tested some this week that are 18, 18.5, but 18.9 is a nice sweet spot. It is all 100% merino, no

 nylon or polyester, so if you're looking for all natural, this is all natural. Washing care is just

 like anything else with wool. Wash it cold and hang it dry. We have a nice drying rack. We just

 lay things out and they dry. Easy breezy. Do not put in the dryer. It will shrink. MSRP is like 110,

 I believe, for the long sleeve. There's other versions in the lineup as well, but I'll give you

 one last gander at it to see the fit and the function. And there it is. We have more stuff,

I tend to always buy icebreaker merino. Nice fit, warm and good quality. They are expensive, so try to find good deals online if I can, but certainly worth the money.
