The feel in my hand was flawless but knowing that the tear was there made me destroy it and purchase the talon grip instead. Maybe I should have boiled the hell out of the grip instead of following the instructions. Not a bad price though.

The open assist thumb stud to me is a little low but that is a personal preference depending on hand size. Overall if you are looking for a everyday carry that is heavy duty and reliable look no further and for the price it can't be beat.

I followed every direction or suggestion to try to get this rubber grip installed. It was impossible. I tried the cutting plastic tabs from the case which I highly DO NOT recommend as you might want to return it as I was on the brink of doing. I boiled it in water, used a hair dryer and nothing was working

Nor does the handle texture promote positive grip, it's more just irritating. I would have given this blade 5 stars if the handle was ever so slightly thicker for a better solid grip, and if I could get the safety lock to function smoothly one handed.

DON'T SKIP THAT STEP, otherwise you will likely tear the grip. Then I used a hair drier to strategically heat up spots as I went along I was able to slowly work the grip on the the pistol. I didn't use Windex for a lubricant like the instructions tell you to do. The whole operation took me 20-30 minutes

it's ok. not the fastest opener I have. Blade is reasonably sharp out of the box. Seems like a durable, robust tool but if I had to do it all over again I would probably get the full size SOG Trident

) Okay, so here is what we (my 21 year old gorilla son and I) learned when installing these grips on our pistols. First, forget the nonsense that the enclosed (with the grips) instructions tell you to do when it comes to slipping these grips onto the pistol. Forget about cutting the plastic shoehorns out of the packaging .

The knife size and weight is substantial. This is a very sturdy knife with a good safety mechanism and nice feel. A solid knife with very good blade and hight quality crafstmanship.

But the thing that really bothered me is that the spring (as in the one that assists in opening) broke. And since that happened, the lock does not stay engaged either (I assume that they are connected). So now this thing is going in the trash. The blade literally just flops back and fourth
