 The video I was just shooting is in my kitchen which is about two rooms over from where I'm at, and it is streaming from there to this headphone adapter, and just unbelievable. Not going to lie, for $99 this is a fantastic deal. This is probably the best turntable I've seen for under $100 ever, other than obviously going and buying maybe a vintage turntable to garage sale, but just out of the package this has got the features that Target put on this thing to, again they did their homework, I feel like they did their homework. You've got the counterweight, 2

 This is heavy, this is a really heavy, this is nice, I really, so far so good, doesn't feel like just a cheap prosely turntable that we've seen so many times in a store. Press the Bluetooth button again to search for your Bluetooth speaker, and it says it will flash. When connected the Bluetooth indicator will stay steady. Okay so you can see it's paired up now, solid white light, we'll see how it sounds

 Ok so a quick recap of the Hay Day wireless turntable, in my opinion it has everything that you're going to want in a turntable for less than $100 and it's wireless via Bluetooth which is just awesome. It's got the counterweight so you can adjust the weight of the stylus and measure the tracking force, it has an interchangeable stylus so this little guy right here so you can change that out, make it add whatever you want to it, if you want to add an Ortofon you can add an Ortofon. It's got 33 and 45 options and it's got anti-skating, it's got a nice dust cover with it, feels very durable and on top of that it's Bluetooth. In my opinion this is hands down one of the best under $100 budget turntables I've ever seen

 Target's done their homework, they've done a fantastic job, if you're looking to gift somebody a turntable I would start right here, I wouldn't even look anywhere else. If you're looking to get a turntable as a backup turntable for something to stream wirelessly, again in my opinion I don't know that any of the other ones do that so start right here. You cannot go wrong with the Hay Day wireless turntable from Target, go out and get it, it's that good.

 It sounds rich. You know, at the end of the day, I think this record player is a good starting point for somebody wanting a fully manual turntable, and maybe this is where you start and stop. You like the ability to stream Bluetooth, you know, speakers, along with the ability to plug this into some external stereo equipment, so I think it does a good job

 This is a great turntable to get started with. You know, the price, $100 for a fully featured manual turntable. Not bad at all, guys. All right

 The big perk though is the Bluetooth. I mean, if you don't want a big hi-fi and you live in a small apartment and you still want to play your vinyls, you could get a pair of very nice Bluetooth speakers to hook this up to and you are going to get a decent sound. The price, I would highly recommend it. I would not pay more than maybe 80 bucks for this

 It comes with an aluminum platter that is very sturdy and has a good weight to it. And the belt is right there, so it's belt drive. And let me just show the bottom of it. So that's what's underneath the platter and this is the motor for the turntable

 I like this cartridge, the sound that it makes a lot better. It's made by Newmark. The tone arm does come with a counterweight and it does have adjustable anti-scaling. Right now I have it set to three grams, which is approximately what this cartridge recommended tracking force

 And let me just show the bottom of it. So that's what's underneath the platter and this is the motor for the turntable. This plight is I guess a particle board, but it's got a good decent weight to it. Okay, let's put that mat back on there

I think I have a pretty good ear for detail though

After buying a new house and wanting an amp that had Bluetooth streaming capabilities, I decided to finally upgrade my modest setup. Went from Audio Engine A5 to these ELAC Debut References with LS 30 Speaker stands, added the Cambridge Audio CXA81, and upgraded my cartridge from the Ortofon 2m red to black. The turnatable is a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon and the Phono is a Graham Slee Communicator Gram Amp 2. 

First off let me say that Im not very knowledgeable about sound equipment and buy most my stuff on reviews and affordability. WhatHifi guided my decision making for the new speakers and amp. I think I have a pretty good ear for detail though.

3-4 years ago when I had my first setup, I was impressed how good music could sound over regular Bluetooth speakers. But this new amp and speaker combo is incredible! I'm hearing things I couldn't before and even my wife who couldnt care less about equipment was blown away. The first song I streamed (Frank Ocean - White Ferrari), I had no idea Bluetooth could sound so rich and deep. I cannot recommend the Cambridge Audio CXA81 enough, the build quality is like nothing I've had the pleasure of touching. The 2m black was installed a day or two after and I have to be completely honest, I haven't noticed such a significant difference that I can say it's worth the $500 (open box special price)

I should add another disclaimer: I haven't listened to my system above a volume that would require you to raise your voice, so I suppose I can't truly judge the 2m black.

At this point, I don't know why I would upgrade any further. I'm pretty sastified with everything and the sound is amazing. If anyone has feedback on the 2M black, please share. Everything Ive read said it's supposed to be levels above the red in detail.

Great looking setup! The stands look similar to the ones we use from Kanto with a smaller base.  I've reviewed both the ELACs and the Cambridge piece on my YT channel but haven't heard the Audio Engine' speakers yet.

New house, new components.

 It gets really complex with many overdubbed tracks of guitar sax drums and vocals less expensive turntables tend to fall apart on this cut, as they just can't pull all the information out. While i've obviously heard this sound better on some much more expensive turntables, this combo did just incredibly well for the price i have to say. After about an hour of listening to the new evo with the rainier, i felt this is one heck of an easy. Listen to rig compared to more expensive tables

It is lacking a very deep bass impact and it's not as dynamic as some in the thousand to fifteen hundred dollar table price range, but geez. It'S one incredible bargain for the price

 At the same time, many cartridges fail to track this properly, resulting in some distortion. Not only did the rainier evo combo track. This fantastically surface noise was super low as well. Next i moved on to the squeeze eastside story album from 1981

PRO-JECT DEBUT EVO TURNTABLE - IS THIS THE BEST BUDGET TURNTABLE UNDER £500?

The turntable is well designed simple to use. Plays 33. 45, and 78 formats. One button to change between 33/45 speeds

 Recommend using a long nose pliers rather than fumbling with fingers. Plays and sounds great. However, found after plugging in the phono cable on the back of the player a second time, the right channel failed, then was intermittent.

Great Product, great sound, cool design, possible quality control issues.
