Really like the over gloves, warmth seemed just ok, not sure about the water proofing, expensive. I got the men's as the women's was not available yet in the updated/new version. It was a little wide so I had to return, need to wait for women's to be available.

I have a pair Black Diamond Soloist lobster gloves. Whole different league of warmth than my Hestra Fall Line mittens. Even with extra Hestra merino wool liners in the Fall Line mittens, the Soloists are still warmer.

I just couldn't justify spending $145 on gloves at the time. So when they dropped to $80 on Amazon I knew I had to get them. I followed the sizing guide from Hestra and they fit as expected.

This happened once before. Here is where I think the problem is. The length of the glove liner/shell is too short. While I don't think the glove needs to be up to the elbow, midway between the elbow and wrist would be ideal
