At first glance I really liked this item. I received it quickly, packaging was great, the juice extractor works as advertised, its not annoyingly loud (though you cannot really use this near sleeping kids or spouse).

 it seemed to me best to spend $20-$40 or go for a best blender possible. BTW, the Vitamix 5200 was cheaper from vitamix.com and you can use 06-006207 code for free S&H.

. and if you soak the strainer/blade and use brush it actually cleans quite well. You *must* rinse off five parts immediately after every use. You also must clean screen/blade between 16oz batch for best results

Tough call though this is a good item

Overall, decent machine but requires lots of cleaning (including the things the leak on the countertop) every time I use it.

Great but with one big flaw

Low Price, Great Value

 - I love that there are no filters or accessories that you need to buy to work the juicer. Fancier centrifugal juicers use filters but I think that's a hassle.  Clean Up: All of the HB Big Mouth Juicer parts are dishwasher safe (minus the base, of course) which is a big plus. However, I find that handwashing each part takes no more than 3 minutes and is very easy

 The cleaning brush that is included with the juicer is extremely helpful for cleaning the basket/blade. I just use a regular sponge with hot, soapy water for the rest. Clean up is a breeze whether you handwash or use a dishwasher. I also prefer to handwash because I've been using the juicer every morning and don't run the dishwasher every day

 It is a small investment in something that will impact our health in a huge way. That alone is totally worth it.

I was a little concerned about the noise level of the juicer. My stepson has one that sounds like a jet taking off! This one is a little quieter than my Oster blender. Not bad.  The motor unit is nice and heavy

 What a great introduction to healthy juices! She (and a couple of her friends)liked it so much they wanted MORE. I had to tell them to start bringing their own food to make juice (or I'll be going broke), and I'll be happy to let them use the machine.  As a novice juicer, I'm very impressed with this machine!

 OMG!!!  At this point I just want my money back.  The juicer isn't that great either, you can only do about three juices at a time because the fruit starts getting jammed and you have to wash all the parts to do a new one.  I don't recommend this machine!!! I hope I do get my money back.  I feel frustrated about all this happening!!!

The blank cone over rotates and plastic auger brakes twice in 5 times use

 look up how long juicing shelf life is. look up other companies/brands and where they source their plastic and labor. all that being said, i found that the OMEGA J8006HDS was the best fit for me and my needs. the price is worth it too for the warranty - not every brand offers that warranty

 not too many knooks or cranies for food to get into, so pretty much you just rinse every piece and its good to go. fast cleaning.  do your research. look up differences btwn masticating and centrifugal

Omega J8006HDS Nutrition Center Juicer Review

 The down side as far as this model goes is why I'm giving it 3 stars. The auger could be a little bit bigger so it can be more tightly pressed so the pulp wont come out so dang wet! If they ever redesign the auger for this model, I will definitely upgrade and keep it because cleaning this baby is such a breeze! BUT I hate that I had to send my pulp back through the machine because I know this can mess some juicers up. But I know the model and knew it could tk it. Plus if I had an issue with the pulp there's also a reverse button

 Just need to do something about that auger. I was looking at omegas commercial juicers. I'll try that next. I know that would be a better option for me as much as I love juicing! Anyway, if you made it to the end of my review, HAPPY JUICING KIDS! Hope this helps you to make the best decision for you! :)  UPDATE 2022: Still going STRONG! The issue about the pulp being too wet was solved by adjusting the knob in the end more and also NOT sending so much through the chute at once helps as well! pulp too wet...BUT Update 2022

 The centrifugal juicers I've reviewed, like the Breville JE98XL or the 200XL, do a great job on hard fruits and vegetables, but not for leafy greens. And the centrifugal juicers are also noisy. The Omega is not noisy, because its motor runs at a slower speed. The Omega is also pretty easy to clean up, because the pieces come apart so quickly

 So here is our nutrient-rich green juice. The Omega J8006 is a very efficient juicer. It leaves very little waste and saves you money on expensive, fresh produce. It's also easy to clean up and is the quietest machine that I've used so far
