 I tried this and the pulp still got stuck inside the cover. I finally used the pulp bin that comes with the juicer and found the pulp still tends to gather inside of the cover/pulp bin lid, especially when you juice peaches and other juicier types of fruit. You will need to remove the cover and scrape out the accumulated pulp or it will begin to back up and get into your juice. I juiced enough fruits and vegetables to get about 36 oz

This juicer is a fine case of you get what you pay for. Not super easy to clean, if you move it while it is put together it comes apart, and it doesn't get all the juice from the fruits. I works ok, but a couple of times it shot juice all over.

 I know my gut says, "What a waste" as I throw it into the compost pile. Remember though, the juicer has extracted what you need. But trying to do something with the pulp just makes this easy operation way to demanding and therefore we give up juicing sooner. Make juicing easy

 Remember you have stuff up there from weeks back, it won't come out after only 2 or 3 juices, but once you have "cleansed", you really feel the difference. Keep at it, I had IBS for 37 years before I juiced, and have been IBS free ever since.

 Unplug, add water, clean up, call Hamilton Beach. Within minutes, with no questions asked, they are sending me a new unit! The only thing I have to do is cut the power cord on the old model and send them a picture of it with my service request number attached. Very easy! if I have to do this every 6-moths it's worth it. I am still very much enjoying this juicer, and I suspect I do use it more than most

 But trying to do something with the pulp just makes this easy operation way to demanding and therefore we give up juicing sooner. Make juicing easy. Do it once a day, use the produce that you enjoy, and don't worry about pulp or getting every single vegetable on the farm down your throat. Remember, one glass of juice is more produce than the average human consumes in a month! Worried about your bowels? If you juice daily, normally all those embarrassing issues reside within a week or two

Not bad at all

 I wanted to get into juicing after watching Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead, but couldn't afford the expensive Breville juicer they recommended, especially since I wasn't sure if I could stick to this or not. I have tasted juice from a Breville juicer and I can say it's much "cleaner" that the juice from this machine. The Hamilton Beach juice is not chunky, but definitely has "grit" to it. It is also an EXTREMELY noisy machine and vibrates a lot! My dogs bark when I'm running it and I can barely hear them doing it! Plus, I can't help but think that one day my neighbors are gonna call the noise police on me! Clean up is a total pain as well

 OMG!!!  At this point I just want my money back.  The juicer isn't that great either, you can only do about three juices at a time because the fruit starts getting jammed and you have to wash all the parts to do a new one.  I don't recommend this machine!!! I hope I do get my money back.  I feel frustrated about all this happening!!!

 look up how long juicing shelf life is. look up other companies/brands and where they source their plastic and labor. all that being said, i found that the OMEGA J8006HDS was the best fit for me and my needs. the price is worth it too for the warranty - not every brand offers that warranty

Omega J8006HDS Nutrition Center Juicer Review

 The down side as far as this model goes is why I'm giving it 3 stars. The auger could be a little bit bigger so it can be more tightly pressed so the pulp wont come out so dang wet! If they ever redesign the auger for this model, I will definitely upgrade and keep it because cleaning this baby is such a breeze! BUT I hate that I had to send my pulp back through the machine because I know this can mess some juicers up. But I know the model and knew it could tk it. Plus if I had an issue with the pulp there's also a reverse button

 Just need to do something about that auger. I was looking at omegas commercial juicers. I'll try that next. I know that would be a better option for me as much as I love juicing! Anyway, if you made it to the end of my review, HAPPY JUICING KIDS! Hope this helps you to make the best decision for you! :)  UPDATE 2022: Still going STRONG! The issue about the pulp being too wet was solved by adjusting the knob in the end more and also NOT sending so much through the chute at once helps as well!  The centrifugal juicers I've reviewed, like the Breville JE98XL or the 200XL, do a great job on hard fruits and vegetables, but not for leafy greens. And the centrifugal juicers are also noisy. The Omega is not noisy, because its motor runs at a slower speed. The Omega is also pretty easy to clean up, because the pieces come apart so quickly

 So here is our nutrient-rich green juice. The Omega J8006 is a very efficient juicer. It leaves very little waste and saves you money on expensive, fresh produce. It's also easy to clean up and is the quietest machine that I've used so far
