GoPro Hero10 Black vs Sony HDR-AS50

My biggest gripe, and it’s big, is the battery life. My first time taking it out I decided to leave my phone tripod at home to save weight. I ended up having to balance my phone against a dead go pro to capture my camping trip.

Bummer Sony! Remove even more stars this time. It's still a good camera but, after install a new battery, just like the first time, only works once. The new battery charged at full capacity, use it normally, dries out, store the camera as asual with the battery in it. When a try to charge it again, nothing

Fantastic! Great video quality. Good in low light , The new menu system is also much more user friendly and easy to learn. So far I am super happy with this purchase .This camera overall has met and exceeded my expectations

On the outside, the front-facing display has a higher frame rate, for a truer preview of your footage, and the touch screen works like a charm. (GoPro fixed the Hero9's initially hit-or-miss touch interface via a firmware update.)

I love the wide-angle lens, the small size, the waterproof housing, and especially the near-field wireless watch-band remote (a great feature). You can control the camera remotely, with this little "tv screen" you can wear as a watch

The image stabilization works well, and assuming you have good lighting, the image quality is quite nice.
