We don't have too many complaints about this chef knife, but we will note that the handle was a bit small for our larger-handed testers. This made it difficult to obtain significant amounts of leverage while trying to cut through tough squashes. So if you have like any grease or oil on your hand, this prevents the knife from slipping from your fingers

 It'S not gon na drop on the floor and probably cause an accident and inside this handle they contain sand sand that you see from ocean like seashore. What it does is that it balances the blade and the handle. So if you put your finger in between then there you go it balances itself. It'S very well balanced and what's good about global knife is that this is perfect for cooks or chefs with smaller hands who find blue stuff or a shinned too big for their hands

 This knife is made of Cromova 18, which is a relatively soft steel. It's about 56 to 58. And there are pros and cons to having a soft steel like that. On the one hand, compared to a Shun that has a 61 hardness, this is going to dull a little bit quicker and it's going to need honing more often

 And the reason they do that is to really control the weight and make a very, very light sort of knife. And that's one of the things globals are very known for is having a light and nimble knife. And it really makes it less tiring to work with, especially if you're going to cook a lot. The knives do have a lifetime warranty, which is great

The steel its made of, apparently "Cromova 15", shines in my eyes like the first time I got it every time it is washed, and repels water, so the juices from various foods drip away to help prevent slices of food sticking to the side of the blade.

This small knife can be used for many tasks such as slicing and peeling small fruits and vegetables, filleting small fish or deboning chicken. The blade has a pointed tip for delicate work. Very sharp and thin-spined, this knife sailed through food cleanly and precisely. We liked it almost as much as our winner; its blade is just a hair longer, giving us a bit less control, and there’s a tiny bit less clearance for your knuckles under the handle. But these are really minor quibbles; this is a great knife, and larger-handed testers will appreciate that its handle has a little extra room for them to grip.

 I purchased this to use as a Petty knife -- tomato and onion slicing kind of work -- which it is great on. Great 6" Petty Knife, Not Granton

 I work in a butcher/sandwich shop, and it is the perfect knife to leave on my station during service. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that I wish it had a little more knuckle clearance. Folks with large hands may struggle using the full length of the blade.
