Every bike has a different flavor or feel and the way that it rides and so geometry plays a very important part in that. The Giant Stance comes with a 16.9 inch reach on the medium frame as well as a 45

 It also comes with Shimano Dior click shifters for a nice confident shift. The Stance also has some great quality components in the brakes. It has a Shimano Mt-200 hydraulic disc brakes. It has a 180 millimeter rotor in the front and 160 millimeter in the back

2021 Giant Stance 2 29 - Bike Review

 The stance was surprisingly well balanced, easy to pump, jump, and maneuver. The rock shocks recon on the giant performed better than the Recon on our GT for no obvious reason. Pedaling the stance was a pleasure, nice and neutral. The stance being the lightest bike in our test at 31 pounds, 2 ounces without pedals, definitely helped it feel speedy

 Setup was rather simple due to the limited suspension adjustment on the flip side. That simple process means dialing in a bike for maximum performance can be while limiting as we showed with Shock rebound adjustment ranges. Betting in the Giants brakes took some effort and despite not being as weak as the tech droves in our test, they still felt underpowered on the trail. I stop by the Chula Vista location every time I get the itch for a new bike, parts, accessories and now service. The team at this store is amazing! Helped my son find his first real mountain bike two years ago, got it fixed super fast now when it broke. A Budget Bike is a great place to start, and ideally, you have one that's a good, solid chassis that you can hang nicer parts on as they wear out, you know,, just with that extra cash flow.

 Giant says the Stance is the perfect entry into singletrack fun, and it's aimed at new riders who are interested in getting out on some cross country light trail ventures.  You Got to kind of really control the steering a little bit more. So These are a Shimano two piston trail bike brake, resin pads, resin pad only rotor close to zero initial bite. Well, that's an exaggeration, just not nearly enough initial bite, not nearly enough power. I Never felt comfortable

 Again, it's got that Recon fork up front. Kazimer, how much air pressure are you running? - Like 120 to 130 pounds, they recommend somewhere around 85 to 100 - 85 to 100. So You've got to over pressurize the fork again, add an extra 20 psi in there. So Just to get that support, rear end we are going 25% sag, tires, tubeless ready, 20 psi for both of us

* Full suspension: Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Comp - great condition. The guy said it's from 2007. He kept it well maintained and comes with a bleed kit.

It sounds like the type of riding you'll be doing puts you in the full suspension category. The stumpjumper has always been a great platform.

I am liking the look of two bikes, the Marin San Quentin 3 and the Specialized Stumpjumper Alloy. But I am not sure which one to go for, as both bikes are great.

Can't Decide Against Hardtail vs Full-Sus...

 I will say however my santa cruz had it all over the evil on paint finish, and frame finishing.

I am trying to decide between some bikes with a lifetime frame warranty. I've found an Evil Offering GX build, and a Santa Cruz Bronson C S MX build. Would love a hightower, but can't find one right now. I've heard that the offering is super playful, but seems like most people agree SC's customer service is hard to beat. Just looking to get some opinions from people that have owned some of these.
