It's light, it's only 80 pounds, so my girlfriend and I had no problem just picking it up and setting it on top of my 4Runner. So far the quality of the tent seems pretty good, I'm actually pretty impressed with it

 I would agree with some people that you definitely, I'm like 6 foot and that's pushing it. That's pretty much, you can see my head is pretty much at the top here. So I'd say 6 foot is like the most. Anyways it's pretty much the inside of this thing

 But you can see they fit flush so there's nothing sticking out, not that it would make a huge difference but just that I didn't have to cut down the bolts myself and worry about it. Alright, so stay tuned and we'll see how this thing holds up over time.

GFC Superlite Initial thoughts (5th gen 4runner)

 Today I'm going to talk a little bit about my GFC Superlight Rooftop Tent that I just

 For those of you who don't know what GFC is, it's a company located in Belgrade, Montana.

 They make a rooftop tent, that's like a hard shell rooftop tent.

 They make a camper that's like for the bed of trucks.

 And then they also make this Superlight now, which is what I just got.

 Alright, let's talk a little bit about what the Superlight is and why I chose it.

 It's basically just a bag with two panels in it that is somewhat similar to a hard shell

 It only weighs 80 pounds, it is 50 inches wide and 90 inches long.

 I chose it just because it's a low profile design, the price point was good, I think

 I paid $13, $12.99 and then I paid $125 to have it shipped from Montana to Arizona.

 my forerunner so the hardware that they originally sent me were these longer bolts and they were

 just way too long to use these to mount onto my forerunner.

 So I just went to Home Depot and I grabbed 8 of these, I don't know if you guys can see

 that, these hex nuts and they actually worked perfectly.

 Because my print suit rack is so low profile, I mounted it to the last bar on the rack in

 the rear and then I just went under the sunroof and mounted right here, which was super easy

 and very helpful that the sunroof was here.

 But you can see they fit flush so there's nothing sticking out, not that it would make

 a huge difference but just that I didn't have to cut down the bolts myself and worry about

 They can adjust and tighten down as tight as you need them to. The interesting part about this Super Lite is it's kind of all one piece hard shell. This material is like a fabric material that's on the outer shell of the top and the bottom and then you have basically a lip where the zipper is that just gives it some waterproofing as you are driving or when it's raining or anything like that. So basically flip up, some velcro pieces, you got zippers that go start at the back and go both ways

Okay so if you don't have a vehicle ladder, so a lot of folks would put a ladder on the back of their vehicle like Baja Racks or Gobi Racks or CB4, you can purchase an extension ladder from GoFast Camper. Really you can get these at your normal big box Lowe's Home Depot also

 Okay so kind of how I was explaining was there's some loops in these tent posts and basically if you just extended them up as tight as they'll go really tent tightening and getting the tent style strength of the material itself. So the tent itself comes with some stakes a bag that has some rope in it to stake out if you want to these side wings to get more air there's a little attachment point and if we were in a place you could stake those out you could do that. When you look at the tent itself this mattress so Go Fest Campers does make a self-completing mattress that you can buy. I went with this mattress this King Camp from Amazon it's a double self-inflating three inch mattress that fits perfectly

 The sellers have basically a rooftop tent on the extensions that come with typical rooftop tents as well as they've seen seed attachment points you can attach to like your print suit rack they actually make a universal one that attaches to the rails underneath the tent itself and what that'll do is allow you to use that awning extension to on these wings when they're rolled out to have airflow but also protect you against kind of the elements if it does rain so you don't necessarily need to stake down and tie out these wings you can purchase something like that aftermarket that'll give you some of that flexibility additionally on each of the sides of the tent they have velcro down a little extension piece here that will allow you to use on these wings to get some airflow in the tent so if it is raining you have to stay buckled up and buttoned down it allows you to get airflow through the tent so that you don't get too much condensation that you're sleeping or when you're in a rainstorm or inclement weather. As you can tell I'm sweating here because it's about 100 degrees in central Texas so that is the walk around of it pretty basic a nice tent I'm glad I waited for it I was really excited about the weight the low profileness of this too it's less than six inches when totally closed down which with my print suit rack allows me to get in a garage if I need it to a normal standard home garage with a three inch lift on my forerunner so it was perfect for me easy to get on and off I also purchased the quick attachment points to mount to my rack so it allows you to take it on and off very easily I will say it's still a two-person job you really could muscle it up with one person if you absolutely had to still a two-person job but an easy two-person job so that is a walk through of the tent thanks for sticking around thanks for checking it out really excited to get to use this thing and stick around for some other videos I know you like itches I know you like scratching them so just try it bye

Go Fast Campers (GFC) Superlite | Setup & Walkthrough

 Welcome back. So it's been a while since I have shown you this little guy right here.

 So I got this probably what? Close to a year ago. I haven't finished the video for it yet.

 This is the GoFast Camper Super Lite, first generation of it that I had pre-ordered and

 it took about a year to get from the folks at GoFast Camper. So I'm going to do a quick

 setup, show you kind of how easy it is to set this thing up and just a quick intro to the different

 So there are six of these straps. Actually there are eight. There's two on the front also. I'm

 sorry there's ten. There's four on the front which doesn't make a lot of sense to me. You only need

 to loosen the six, the two on the sides, two on the rear. They have these G-hook clamps on here.
