 Well, since it's hard wired with a parking mode cable, that is a little easier said than done.  I really wish I had gone with one of the Chinese brands instead of this one. Garmin is a well-known and respected brand that you would expect to make a high-quality and solid product. They really should be ashamed to release a product this bad

 Anyway all good as far that goes. Using the app is simple, and it worked perfectly so far. Nice to be able to view an event directly on your phone without having to remove the card , Wifi, or even take the camera from the dash- like some dashbcams that are adhesive mounted, what good is the screen them?? Anyway also like the very compact size. A bit pricey, but I haven't any others with the Bluetooth feature

Got the app and paired it to the phone. Have to do that in the car apparently, not just plugged to the computer. Anyway all good as far that goes. Using the app is simple, and it worked perfectly so far

Over $300 camera, without a rear camera (even though you are able to add cameras through the app), not even a tool to push your wires through the panels like any other cheaper cameras out there, only 720P resolution for the inside, which my $200 cheaper VAVA 2K has 1080P, lousy Wi-Fi, keeps going in and out, asking you to join every minute – RIDICULOUS, not even a booklet for BASIC INSTRUCTION how to operate the camera – UNBELIEVABLE, that every other electronic device/dashcam out there gives you even if you need to update it later on (that's what they claim as an excuse, so what?!). Easy to use and easy to install, and even Great Idea for the future of dash cams, but way too GREEDY AND OVERPRICED dashcam, definitely NOT RECOMMENDED for this CRAZY PRICE.

 But file size can become to large, and this app can't deal with large files. There is an option to "trim" the video files to a shorter length. So far I find 5 minutes is the max.  I could however, download those bigger files by connecting directly to the computer

 -The instructions are very scant and not well centralized. The supplied pamphlet is very lacking, even the colors are wrong(for various cam modes). I find answers in different places too, that is just dumb and can be corrected. -the PIP position for exported videos needs to be a hard set option, not every time

Mostly good but for the Android app.

 It has the voice and save button right there on the little camera which my last cam didn't have at all and its a veryyyy essential feature to record key events quickly. I only had for 1 day and its exactly what I wanted, I will update review if anything comes up.  **edit**  This dash cam quality is too low! It cannot pick up plates unless your not moving and right behind the other driver. It works well with the interior and exterior camera views as well as audio but the quality just doesn't make up for it

 If it cannot, the live view won't work for you (since bluetooth can't stream that much data) and you might not be able to update as well. Not sure if it works on iPhone but I previously had a iPhone 6S which always had wifi direct working.  If you run a hotspot on your phone wifi direct will also be disabled, I use it on a wifi tablet which gets the hotspot signal from my main phone so that WILL work. Wifi has to be on for wifi direct to work

 This one records the front and back and takes the old school microUSB (sadly not USB-C). It comes w/ a 16gig microSD card (ADATA) which I replaced for my microcenter 32gig card and the app works well.  Now here's the tricky part since I seen some bad reviews. The camera connects to your Android device using bluetooth yes, but to it work fully with the app you need WIFI-Direct

 Its less than 480P quality, better off getting something else. Its way too expensive for such low quality video. Very disappointed. Far away shots and moving shots, it just doesn't do it! I say this because it had trouble picking up plates of someone who caused an accident

Where to start?

 This unit has the option of an external microphone as well. I don't utilize this feature but it could be useful in the right situation. They have another option of the Bluetooth button that you can mount anywhere in your vehicle and when pressed it will start recording and create a protected event. I wish it came with this standard as I really see this as a positive for certain situations as well

 It does support up to 256GB and I solely use the Samsung Pro Endurance models that are made for these types of devices. The front facing camera has the Sony IMX335 5mp sensor while the two other cameras have the Sony Starvis IMX291 sensor. This gives you 2k video out the front and 1080p for the interior and rear. 1080P is ok however, I would like to see the same Sony 5mp sensor used for the rear camera but that's just me and may be a limitation to the recording processor in the unit due to 3ch recording

 A panic recording switch if you will.  I used a 256GB card in my unit. The card needs to be formatted in FAT32. This can be accomplished through the app or by using the include card to USB adapter and your computer

 Within 1 week the wires for the Viofo dash cam fully killed my car battery. Bought a higher capacity battery and it killed that one overnight. So I returned it. The technician said not only did this wiring kill the battery, it severely over heated the camera; it was so hot it almost burned him

I had this issue the camera beep and beep and beept and I couldn't figure it out until I got a higher grade SD card. Also it WILL go into parking mode after about 1 minute if it senses your car is not moving

 The images and viewing of the videos are very clear and you can zoom in on the videos themselves for a clearer look. In fact, this has to be the best feature this camera system has that I have seen out of many other cameras besides also being able to access the camera files via the systems wifi system once you turn it on and be able to view/download the files directly. More Amazing Than Realized.

  Update. Absolutely love this camera with the three channels! There are a few issues that I have with the app-that is you cannot delete locked videos without uploading them to computer and that you can not few videos without the camera WiFi being on. There is a voice that come no to tell you that there are 3 channel’s recording that tends to change in volume depending on the day- to where it’s clear or not audible at all. But other then those things this camera works great! Worth the buy

I just got this product today and the installation was easy, but it was a lengthy process with finding the right placement with working the wires. I will update this when I have had it for a longer period of time. So, far my only complaints are that you need to have the camera wifi on in order to access the videos and the other is I don't know how to delete the locked videos, I locked 3 while I was setting up the camera Bluetooth button( that was sold separately) other than that so far so good. I will update soon
