Love the AIR FRY feature- it crisp any type of foods and keeps us healthy!  (fried chicken, French fries, fish sticks, etc).

- the baking tray is of poor quality. It rusted/stained very easily; I always need to cover it with foil or parchment paper.

- for baking, you need to adjust the temperature down or else you'll have a burnt mess.

Works well for a year or two, then display fails. Not a great air fryer.

   It baked okay, evenly but not very hot - more like 300 F for a 350 F setting, according to the thermometer.   Really slow to heat up, too.   Probably would work fine with only convection oven settings used - those seemed to warm to temp set correctly and faster - even to 450 F.   Toasted great

I bought this in May, 2021. Less than two years later, the light no longer goes on by the button, and the LED display is slowly losing cells. It's not great at setting time, since it's all pre-programmed. There are a lot of times when it will overcook or under-cook, but can't get it right simply because the options aren't there to set a specific time or temperature

It's not bad, but it IS fragile

 I have only used it make french fries but it does do the job but it takes along time to the job. I may keep it and I might decide to toss it as I consider a fire hazard of sorts, IMHO. As far as I am concerned all manufactures can do a lot better if they only tried harder but it's always about the price/profit point more than the item and customer.

 The preheating of this unit is waste of energy and should be up to the owner if they want to do this, not the manufacture, IMHO. My Air fryer came with super loose shelving which I had to fix myself or return the air fryer back to Amazon which it had already been done once! Amazon did give me a discount for the hassles of ''fixing it'' They are built very cheaply and also have very sharp edges so be careful if you must take it apart to correct damage from shipping. Since receiving the Hamilton Beach Professional Digital Countertop Oven I have used it to cook many different items such as frozen chicken strips, mozzarella bites, cresent rolls, brownies, homemade biscuits & the whole chicken, everything cooked just as it should & I didn't have to heat up my kitchen by turning on my kitchen stove's oven.

The probe is a plus with this digital countertop oven. You are able to see when the food is cooked to the desired internal temperature & it has the auto shutoff feature.

I also like that you have the option to use the timer with auto shutoff or the stay on function that allows the oven to stay on up to 4 hrs & automatically shuts off, you must press the minus button just past 1 for this.

 In fact, it is so bad that -- despite being a very good OVEN as far as the actual baking and toasting goes -- I got rid of it and just bought one made by a different company. I'd rather lose the money than have to keep using this infuriating thing.

As an oven, it's good. Great even. But the controls are so poorly designed and irrititating that they make the oven practically unusable.  First, to get the minor stuff out of the way, there should be a dial to set temperature
