In calling 800 number I was advised that there was only one year for warranty and for me to contact Galanz Americas LTD. I felt Oster should be contacted since their name is on a product that is detrimental to society now that I was reviewed a lot of other unsolved complaints. I'm not happy to have a product just over 1 year and not being offered some kind of credit, other than you are sorry. Bad customer service!

Third update October 12, 2017 Repair made under warranty in January has failed, so that for the second time since the purchase in July, 2016, this microwave is not useable. Panasonic refused to take any responsibility for correcting the failed warranty repair. The only communication available was a chat line exchange with an unsatisfactory outcome. Amazon has indicated that I may receive a refund - possibly partial - upon their receipt of the microwave under an authorized return
