I first didn't like pole grips, but have gotten used to them and really like them. Great adjustable and good powder baskets. Definitely digging them now.

While I like the idea of poles that can compact a bit more, I'm much more concerned with durability. These things are fantastic in that regard! I like them so much I've started to use them as trekking poles in the Summer.
