After spending quite some time researching online and comparing different options, we bought the Frigidaire AC. The unit works well, efficiently and makes reasonable noises. It was easy to install and start using. The remote control works well and is easy to use

What is the point of buying an air conditioner that has WiFi connectivity features if the cloud platform that it connects to is unreachable almost every day? From my experience, the Electrolux cloud network has the worst up-time record of any smart device company that I have owned. SmartThings, LIFX, and other smart device manufacturerers have network status webpages for incident and maintenance reports which helps the consumer to identity connection problems - Electrolux does not. Lastly, and equally important, the Android app is very poorly designed. Save yourself the frustration and do not, under any circumstances, consider buying a Frigidaire branded "smart" device

I like the app and magnetic remote control but it doesn't keep the room as cold as I would have liked and was a bit of a hassle to get the kit in the window. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I have a 350 sqf area and it doesn't cool it below 72F. when it gets really hot it can be 77 to 76.

I spent over $500 for a unit I can't use, and I'm on a fixed income. Oh, and as the instructions say, you'll need either a hacksaw or a power tool cutter (to cut off the rear piece of the slider, which will otherwise block part of the vent hole) AND you have to screw this unit into your window frame.

Expected more from this AC unit, especially with the price they're charging for it. Dislike the following:

It looks nice but it does make a ton of weird noises. I’m returning it because it doesn’t have the heat feature but I also am happy to return it because of all the noises it makes and because of how big it is in comparison to other units. So far customer service has been ok but they haven’t been super helpful in the return process yet.

I bought this AC about 2 months ago, and have been trying to contact Frigidaire customer service to discuss the noises coming from this machine. As I bought a 2nd similar machine, I believe this one is making noises it shouldn't. I wish Frigidaire would contact me to discuss.

Had a 10000 BTU UNIT Did not do the job on our 400’ living room so NBC bought this 13000BTU unit and I expected it to cool a little more I still need fans in the room

4) It turns on and off a lot. There should be a way to disable to thermostat so it just continuously pumps air in regardless of room temp.

I started by cutting the foam and attaching it to the window sash using the included double-sided tape. Next I unlocked the slider, fit it to the sash, and locked it in place. I lowered the window to meet the slider, filled in the gaps with additional double-backed foam, and attached the exhaust tube to the AC and to the port on the window slider.

installing through the app was very easy like the ones before this model.. so I got the AC working very quick with the app.
