If I put the AC on "Auto," the noise level is unbearable. So I have to keep the fan on "Lo" at all times. Unfortunately, if I set the unit to "Sleep," it auto switches to "Auto." Since no one sleeps in my office, it's okay

This air conditioner produces an extremely loud but very high-pitched noise. According to customer service, the noise is "normal". If you're somewhere around 30 or older, you will probably love this unit, because you won't hear a thing. If you're younger than that, good luck falling asleep ever again

It should keep me from getting a heatstroke if my central air conditioner stops working completely.

I also haven’t found another window unit with a high CEER rating of 15.0 like this one. A bit pricey, but well worth it for the energy savings and quietness.

But as long as it keeps the house cool and keeps the electric bill down I’m happy! It sure beats the cost of central air!

For the price point it offers too little cold air for even a small size room. All other bells and whistles like one being able to control it through Wifi works fine but what's the point, it's an AC and it should cool your room period..

I personally recommend getting much larger AC units like this for smaller rooms, as it more efficiently and quickly cools them (thus less power consumption and less compressor wear down).

Turn it on and realize it doesn’t really get cold. 15 minutes later it gives an error message saying there is no refrigerant in the AC. Again, this is supposed to be brand new. Call customer support, they say there’s nothing they can do and I should deal with amazon for any returns

So my son’s this is probably relatively energy expensive solution versus whole House air-conditioning if you’re going to use four or five of them. On the hole, the products have done pretty well and my initial purchase is now four years old so I can’t complain.
