The Formd T1 is always a sexy case and is probably the winner, but you knocked it out of the park with the customizations on that H1.

NZXT H1 or Formd T1 - which case do you like more?

 All of the parts here are CNC'd aluminium that has been sandblasted and anodized and the first impressions of the quality here is seriously solid. There is a user manual available but at this point it does need a lot of work and it is missing quite a few steps. Hopefully this gets ironed out before actual release. So first you want to unbox pretty much everything or you can leave them in their assigned slots and boxes

 When we compare the same 120mm liquid cooler being used in other cases like the Circle Pro and the Thawzone Mjolnir, we're looking at about a 7 degree C improvement by moving to the T1. GPU thermals are respectable also, and again they were better in the flipped orientation, so although the case is kind of designed around having the fans at the bottom, thermals and noise levels will be much better by having the case flipped with the fans at the top. There aren't any big drawbacks by doing this, there's not going to be any upside down logos or USB ports, and the case looks just as clean in both orientations. The only slight drawback is that the power plug will now be at the top of the case instead of below it, but that doesn't really bother me personally

 The entire case has been flat packed and needs to be put together and at first I sort of cringed at this idea but it does reduce the cost a little and the assembly process is actually quite rewarding. If you've heard about this case before, then you'll know that it is exceptionally high quality.  Build quality and finish is as good as it gets, it's extremely well ventilated which makes it suitable for high-end systems, and the price, although high, is definitely competitive against similar options like the Ghost S1. The Sidearm T1 should be available around the $200 mark, but as I've said in previous videos, consistent availability of these cases is the bigger issue. The first batch of this case will be hugely successful without a doubt, I just hope that moving forward larger and more frequent batches will be produced. Because at the end of the day, whether you choose a T1 or a Ghost S1, an NK-SAM1 or a Streakom DA2 will probably come down to which one is just in stock at the time

FormD T1 - The Ultimate Sub-10L Case!

 For a few months now, my editing and gaming system has been in the Loki Ghost S1.

 Most of you are familiar with it, it's a 9900K and 2080Ti system and it's completely liquid

 Today that might change though because this here is the Sidearm T1.

 We first saw this case at Computex last year in June, back then it was a prototype but

 It's a 9.5L premium space optimized and high airflow ITX case aimed at those building high

 So if you are in the market for something like this, definitely stay tuned.

 Spoiler alert, this is one of the best cases that I have ever reviewed, ATX cases included

 and this is most likely going to be my new case moving forward for my gaming and editing

 Firstly, a quick 30 second brief on why you'd want to build something like this in the first

 place and why I personally have such a tiny PC as my main editing and gaming system.

 In summary, modern hardware just allows for it, mainstream socket CPUs are approaching

 serious speeds and core counts whilst also being quite power efficient and the use cases

 for multi GPU systems are slowly fading, especially for gaming.

 Storage is also becoming a lot denser and more affordable and SFX power supplies have

 So putting this insane performance per liter potential together, we of course need a suitable

 case to cram all of that power in and that's why these extremely space optimized cases

 For me, even when it comes to video editing, I would see very little benefit when it comes

 to upgrading to a larger platform like Threadripper, seeing as my editing software of choice, DaVinci

 That means that even 6K raw video files play back and edit with zero hitch on just an eight

 core CPU because I am essentially just editing on a single powerful GPU that takes care of

 So a big part of the sidearm T1 is the assembly of the case itself.

 When you receive it, it'll look something like this.

 I just feel that it helps to see all of the pieces laid out and within arm's reach.

 The first step is to install the three main struts that connect the front panel to the

 rear panel and seeing as this is the first time the parts are being slotted in, they

 might need a little extra force because the tolerances here are pretty tight.

 For the strut that goes along the top of the case, keep in mind whether you're going to

 be installing a two-slot or three-slot graphics card and then install that into the correct

 This will make more sense towards the end.

 The rear panel can then be secured pretty easily just by sandwiching it between these

 three struts and then that's the main support system for your Sidearm T1 complete.

 The rear IO bracket is next and again you have two different brackets here depending

 on whether you're going for a two-slot or three-slot graphics card build.

 Next you'll want to install the riser standoff bracket and I actually missed a step here

 seeing as it wasn't in the user manual at the time and that's to install a long standoff

 This one here is for three slot cards, the standoffs for two slot cards will be a bit

 You'll need to install the power supply mounting bracket to the top strut and front of the

 Pretty straightforward, again all of the pieces should fit nicely together like shown.

 If you're installing a two and a half inch drive you'll install the bracket at the front

 of the case just below the power supply bracket and now that we're working with the bulk of

 the case you'll want to take a bit of care not to scratch it.

 Flipping back around to the rear of the case you'll want to install the graphics card securing

 bracket and also install the power button which should screw in and eventually sit nice

 Next is the top portion of the faceplate, only a single screw is needed here, it slots

 into the bottom portion pretty easily and then is just secured at the top.

 Next up are the motherboard standoffs which can be screwed in by hand and then we have

 the fan and radiator brackets which can be mounted on the side of the lower struts.
