It will hold a solid carve but is light and agile enough to bounce around through the trees. It’s everything I wanted. I had a friend go with the Nordic’s Enforcer and, although a fantastic ski, much heavier and less lively than the FR 102.

I need help choosing a new pair of skis. Here are some facts: 190cm tall, 105kg, experienced skier. In my home resort I do a lot od treeskiing and freeride on powder days, I also hit some groomers and moguls. Candidates: fischer ranger 102, armada arv 106, atomic bent chatler 100. Thanks!

 And that just kind of brings out the freeride mentality in this 102, which is pretty nice. You know, definitely one of the better 102 millimeter underfoot skis in terms of versatility. And then we get a nice playful shape and profile as well. So pretty decent rocker

 I think that carbon nose was pretty stiff. But this has a more flexible and predictable entry point to the turn. So that kind of gives it a little bit better of that all-mountain feel while being really floaty. Why this part comes down to about here, lines up well with the rocker and the flex, allowing you to get good flotation as well as good initiation

 So that puts more emphasis on the edges of the skis, having that metal over them. And then leaving that middle part just a little bit more flexible, allowing the metal to articulate when you're into a carve turn. And that just kind of brings out the freeride mentality in this 102, which is pretty nice. You know, definitely one of the better 102 millimeter underfoot skis in terms of versatility

 So take that into consideration for sure when you're going about your mounting process. We're always recommending on the line for the most part and this ski with this structural application of metal only emphasizes our theory in that regard. And then we have some V-cuts in the center of the metal laminate. In the front and the back

So I'm currently skiing on my old (2005, looool) Dynastar Pro Model Phil Dion freestyle twin tip skis. The skis are fun and they have served me well. But they're 165cm, which I feel is too short for my ability level and height. And they're ancient.
I typically ski at an intermediate to advanced level on-piste. I will ski at an advanced level for the majority of the day on the mountain, and intermediate when I'm tired. I keep up with my snowboarder friends who love their tree runs and off-piste activity, but I am also content coasting down groomers with my beginner skier friends. I don't do a lot of park these days in fear of reactivating an old knee injury, but I still venture in there for Small park features, and I like going off jumps on the sides of runs. Also like twin tips for spinning around and having fun. 
I feel like I'm overworking myself using skis I've grown out of. I'm looking for a twin tip all mountain ski (I think). But because I'm so tall, there aren't a lot of options for me in terms of women's skis. I weigh around 145-150lbs. Boot size 26.5. Would I be OK with a men's ski? Do I have to be concerned about getting an Ultralight ski? I went to a couple shops around Boxing Week but everyone was obviously cleaned out and I didn't get much help from staff. Saw a nearly-new pair of 2022 Line Sick Day 88 skis on FB Marketplace, 179cm, with Tyrolia Attack2 16 bindings. $625 OBO for the skis with bindings. Would this be a good choice? Should I be concerned about re-mounting bindings?
I've done some research and have a few ideas, and a lot of questions. I'd love to pick the brains of Reddit ski enthusiasts to point me in the right direction. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Now, another thing I like about this ski and probably something that people are going to ask about, and I think a good way to summarize this review is in my opinion, this ski is not something that's chasing superlatives. It doesn't care. It doesn't care if it's the stiffest, most powerful

 See pretty much all guys on pink skis so far this year. Yes, which we'll get to. Before we kind of jump into it, Fisher contacted us a while ago and said, like, hey, do you guys want to give away a pair of these pink skis? And I was like, yes. Sure

 He uses the ski for switch spins, landing switch, sliding rails, all sorts of stuff, which is just really fun to see. And for me, filming and conceptualizing and writing this review, it was just really interesting to see and to think about those three skiers and how different they are and how much each of them enjoys this ski. com. Today I'm at Powder Mountain testing out the Nordica Unleashed 98. Just so you know, I'm not being sponsored or compensated by any brands for these reviews. This is just my unbiased opinion on the skis as I ski them

 Gordicas in general have a reputation for being durable. I've never had any issues with them myself and I've never heard of other people having issues with them, so I would assume that this ski also falls in that category. This ski is definitely for the person who wants to be able to have one ski that can do everything reasonably well. This is a ski that carves well

 For an intermediate skier, you'll be better off with a ski that's a little softer tip to tail and a little bit more maneuverable. Skis work differently for different types of skiers. 2023 Nordica Unleashed 98 Ski Review | Curated

 So wood core with one sheet of terrain specific metal. You know, it's not often we see a twin tip with a full metal laminate, so having this nearly full laminate for Unleashed 98 just makes a lot of sense, and it really kind of boosts that performance. It really works well on the hill as well as on paper. So we do get that wood core and that one sheet of terrain specific metal, so that metal has cutouts along the edges in the forebody and through the tail of the ski, so that keeps it a little bit more playful on the edges while keeping the central spine and the underfoot portion of the ski supremely damp and stable

 So this gives us more effective edge underfoot and a little bit better grip and pop to the snow. Similar taper shape, you know, it is more up into the tip of the ski, again leading to that longer effective edge. It's an incredibly smooth carving ski on the groomers, you know, it's not a front side ski by any stretch but pretty incredible what you can get out of it in terms of that on-piste performance. And then tail, same thing, you know, not quite as dramatic as Soul Rider was but almost there
