So these are duo dual sided power meter left and right of course and they retail for 569 euros or 699 pounds while the uno a single sided option is 364 euros or 49 pounds you can buy the uno and upgrade as a latest date to the duo dual sided power meter for 352 euros or 409 pounds and before I get into the box and more details Let's put on the scales and see it away. Of course, they will be heavier than a non power meter pedal That's a given. Let's see what they actually weigh So 152 grams for one pedal and 304 grams for two pedals So that is the price and weight dealt with go to one side and let's move on to some other aspects So we have a look keo compatible platform Which uses a similar three bolt cleat to shimano's SPD SL open on the box so As a box pedals already out Lots of manuals and here are the cleats Which are a familiar cleat to many of you So the same as a look keo three bolt cleat go bolts and adapters in there very similar visually to a shimano SPD SL but of course not compatible with each other if you already use look keo You'll be fine with these if you're using shimano SPD SL and you're not willing to make a change Then it may be an issue and personally I can switch between look and shimano no issues at all I find them very very similar I know some people who use a shimano SPD SL aren't prepared to move away from that system that ecosystem are used to And especially if you have lots of shoes and cleats that could be an expensive upgrade But there are rumors of a shimano version will come out soon, but all rumors at the moment So look keo three bolt cleat go bolts and adapters in there very similar visually to a shimano SPD SL Look keo cleats so easy to set up do that in another video and You get An allen key in there

 It's definitely not as much as some others that are coming out of the market soon Okay price wise for the duo 654 euros 800 US dollars 700 pounds about 1200 Aussie dollars The UNO is a lot cheaper again. It's only half the pedal. Well, you get two pedals, but half the technology in them They are upgradable, but that's the price point for the duos. Okay wrapping this one up for today I'd have no hassles whatsoever Recommending this is a power meter solution if all the boxes have been ticked with what you've seen so far as always the choice Is ultimately yours do your research jump over to DCRandMaker

 This is Instantaneous angular velocity. Fiverro have published a 27 page doco on what IAV is all about But look in a nutshell with the latest firmware Your Fiverro Asiomas will be accurate in the saddle out of the saddle with round rings and with Osymmetric rings or non round rings if you're into that this now brings the Asiomas into line with the power tap P1s and the rotor Power meters which are compatible with non round rings now just quickly looping back to the Bluetooth connectivity of these pedals The Asioma Duos are two independent Bluetooth power meters. There's no single combined channel Like you see with the Vector 3s They're very similar to the power tap P1s where if you're using a head unit or system that can only connect to one power At a time you'll connect to one pedal and then it will double it So effectively turning the Asioma Duos with those systems over Bluetooth into the UNOs same with the power tap P1s It will turn them into a P1s I have tested this myself with Zwift on Apple TV connected to one of the pedals and it did double the number on the Screen so the numbers were correct, but it did turn my Duos into an UNO with the Bluetooth connectivity The workaround for that would be if you have a system that does support ANT plus to use the ANT plus channel Which is the dual left and right combined and your true data So there's all the details the specs and the theory behind this power meter. Happy days there on the data front from the Assioma duo pedal So no dropouts cadence was good and no right power sensor missing messages coming up on my head unit So I guess in summary they're light they're accurate

 So that's looking pretty good for that. The Asiomas have active temperature compensation Which for me is a must-have if you're riding outdoors cleat wise they are look compatible cleats supplied So they get a set of red Expedo six degree float cleats you can use look cleats look compatible cleats I've been using the zero degree cleats that I've been using with the power tap P1 pedals Just fine. Fiverro offer a two-year warranty on this product.  For weight, they will depend on which pedal body that you're going to be using, but with the Altegra pedal bodies, they'll come in right around 156.8 grams versus the original Asseoma Duos, which are a smidge less than 152.4 grams. And then just for comparison, the Garmin Vector 3's come in at 159

 Taking these outside compared to a Quark crank based power meter, the numbers were again pretty close. I found that Quark Road and Mountain power meter crank sets tend to report a little bit high. So that's what we see right here there in terms of the slight difference in average power. And if we dive in and take a closer look, we can see that the Assema Duo SHI's were a bit more sensitive than the Quarks, but still overall, they were very close

 So I used them along with a pair of Garmin Vector 3s for a lot of bike trainer power accuracy testing along with a lot of other reviewers because they just work. So it's nice to see Fibero offer an option for those who prefer Shimano SPDSL cleats. So just like the originals, they provide plus or minus 1% power accuracy, and I'll have some examples of that later in the video. They provide cadence as well as what Fibero calls IAV cycling dynamics, which consists of more advanced cycling dynamics data like your pedal power phase as well as standing versus seated time

 Alright folks, so these are the brand new Fibero Asioma Duo SHI Power Meter Pedal Spindles which allow you to get the phenomenal power accuracy found on the original Fibero Asioma pedals, but now you can use them with Shimano SPDSL cleats versus the Look cleats on the originals. If you're not familiar with the Asioma pedals from Fibero, they are some really accurate look style cleat compatible road power meter pedals that are lightweight, they're durable, they have some great battery life, and they're priced very competitively, especially for their power accuracy. So I used them along with a pair of Garmin Vector 3s for a lot of bike trainer power accuracy testing along with a lot of other reviewers because they just work. So it's nice to see Fibero offer an option for those who prefer Shimano SPDSL cleats

 It comes with the same cleats so they're cross compatible. The same set of shoe spacers and then I can also see here you've got the other options to make it fit different profiles of shoes so that's all the same also. All the bolts you need to attach the cleats to your shoes. A few more spacers here to change the stack height and then you've got a few shims here to change your cue factor which is basically the distance from your pedal to the bottom bracket vaguely and then in these various little bags you've got the charger so you can see that this runs off a normal USB and then that's a splitter cable that goes to two USB C's that then plug into these little units at the back here which then obviously connect to the pedal and you can just see here you've got these obvious metal contacts that just slide into place like that and then that's going to charge away and you can do both pedals at the same time so a nice easy click charge system with one USB cable

 Nice and simple and as always a couple of product information booklets in there too. So let's get into the nitty gritty of the features so most importantly they are accurate between plus or minus one percent so that is up there with the best power pedals out there. In fact power systems out there as a whole so these are going to be about as accurate as you can measure your power out there on the bike and they're going to come in both single and dual sided power options so the single sided is just going to read your left leg's power and it's going to read that within that one percent accuracy but then just double that data so it's still really good for training but it's not going to give you that ultimate left right power so if you're recovering from a particular leg injury or you need to get that specific data to improve your pedal stroke then the dual sided is the best way to go but obviously the caveat to that is that the dual sided is more expensive so that comes in at £850 and the single sided comes in at £550 so it's quite a big difference in price there but I guess fundamentally quite a big difference in data if you want that accuracy and we'll talk about how these prices sit against other pedal power systems and general power systems a little bit later on. So about 380 grams for the full set up with nothing else needed so when you're comparing them to something like the Garmin rally pedals that come in at about 326 grams without cleats it's looking like a really similar weight set up so nothing to really worry about there even for the weight weenies

Wahoo PowrLink Zero Review // Best Power Pedal in 2022?

 Grabbing this data through here. What's this? We have 22 minutes 198.4 to 200 again some start stops in there which will affect the numbers just a little bit all looking really really good there What I'm looking for there is just a consistent separation that I see with some other meters If you're playing a long game, you know exactly what I'm talking about and what I've seen with other comparative tests. That's looking good there We'll jump into this section here through the forest 167, 167 again some stop starts a few little short bits here and there But again to be expected with two different types of power meters But overall when I'm looking down in the head unit, there was no major consistent separation Indicating any problems

 I've been using these for the last 12 months. I've done a lot of writing on these So yes, today's review is a long-term review on launch day I can confirm the delay in release of these pedals wasn't due to any technical issue with the pedals themselves It was simply supply chain. The data from these pedals both indoors and out has been pretty much spot-on from the get-go I can trust them to compare other power meters to both indoors and out And I've already done this in a number of reviews here on the GP Alama channel. So that's the summary Let's get straight into the details Pulling up Wahoo's technical specifications of these pedals There's both a dual sided and a single sided version

Wahoo PowrLINK Speedplay Power Meter Pedals: Details // Long-Term Review

 But let's talk about the other big product from Wahoo and that is the all-new Speedplay Power Meter pedals, the Powerlink Zero. So in this video, I'll talk about what you get in the box, the specs, how to install them, and answer the most important question, are they as accurate as Wahoo claims? If you are not familiar with the Speedplay pedals, these are lollipop-shaped pedals. They offer more adjustability and lower stack height. They are also dual-sided, so you can clip in on either side of the pedals

 The new smart bike started to measure a tiny bit higher towards the last couple of intervals, but overall, they were within three watts of each other. Finally, let's take a look at this 15 by one-minute workout I did. Again, the power was almost exact between the Wahoo Kickr 5 and Powerlink pedals during each one-minute interval. Looking at all 15 intervals here, the difference in power between the two was less than 1%

 All three power meters were very close. The Powerlink averaged three watts higher than the Kickr, which is expected from a pedal-based power meter. On the sprint section, the Wahoo Kickr overshot by a little bit here, but the Powerlink was moving along with my crank-based power meter, so I'm trusting the crank-based and Powerlink here. In the first sprint, the Powerlink responded faster than my crank-based power meter, but on the second one, the Powerlink and crank-based were almost exactly moving together

 Again, the power was almost exact between the Wahoo Kickr 5 and Powerlink pedals during each one-minute interval. Looking at all 15 intervals here, the difference in power between the two was less than 1%. So overall, the pedals worked well, and I'm looking forward to taking them outside and test them out further once the weather get a little bit warmer here. The Powerlink also measure and broadcast cadence, and that was also spot on

 But ultimately, you know, I do think that the Wahoo Powerlink Zeros are providing good, accurate power data, you know, if they're properly calibrated and they're connected and communicating correctly. But at a thousand dollars, it is a very expensive product for a dual sided power meter. Comparing it to other power meters on the market, it's one hundred dollars less than the Garmin Rally pedals. So is it reasonable? You know, I think so

 Which one is correct? You know, I don't know for sure. But but I've always thought that my cork has always been, you know, very generous with the watts. And I would say that's definitely just how I like it. I will take all the help that I can get

 The power meter will work with, you know, any cycling head unit or bike computer that accepts power. It transmits data, you know, over Bluetooth and ANT+. I was able to connect these power meters to two Wahoo units, a Hammerhead Karoo, a couple of Garmin computers, two Brighton bike computers, as well as my iPhone and an iPad via the Bluetooth option. And these pedals will transmit both power as well as cadence information to those head units
