 At 95mm underfoot, the Dictator 2.0X is a versatile off-piste performer that's more than capable in deep snow but you might want something a little wider if you're heading in the direction of Japanese powder. All in all, a really solid, if not particularly playful ski that will satisfy powerful, confident female skiers. Whilst it definitely requires a solid drive, if you like to be in the front then you'll be pleased with how the Dictator 2

0X is a classic freeride, flat tail ski that demands to be skied with power, commitment and grandes cojones (or the female equivalent).  Hi, I'm Billy and I run our boot team at Snow & Rock in Chertsey and I've been out here in Kutai today testing out the Salomon Stance 80. It's a brilliant all-mountain ski. Your high intermediates when moving to advanced ski is going to benefit from this perfectly. It's a nice stable ski at high speeds, but only being 80mm underfoot, your shorter, sharper turns on piste, they're going to whip around nice and quick for you

 So this ski is a brilliant all-mountain option. If you want something a little bit wider, a little bit stiffer, check out our Stance 84 and the Flatdeck Stance 90. Both a little bit stiffer options with more body underfoot give you a bit more float in that softer snow. So when you come into store to see this ski, it's going to have a slight graphic change for when we actually get it into the stores

With a progressive sidecut, and confidence-building stability, the Stance 80 is a quick and reliable ride with just the right amount of power to keep you coming back for more. The Titanal laminate construction grips the snow, while added carbon windows create a smooth flex, and effortless on-snow feel. M11 binding completes the system.

These skis come with M11 GW L80 system mount bindings included. They won't arrive mounted due to safety reasons, however if you take them to any Snow + Rock store with one of your ski boots we are happy to mount them for you free-of-charge.

 They do a really good job kind of giving you the necessary performance you need in the binding to match the ski, so you can buy it like this. Definitely nothing wrong with that. I mentioned at the beginning of the video that you can buy it with boots too, so that's something that we really pride ourselves on here at Ski Essentials is we pick boots that we think go really well with these skis. They're always going to be more comfort-oriented boots, a little wider

 It's pretty darn agile in moguls. There's enough width here and width this tip and tail shape that you can actually handle some softer snow conditions too, which is really nice to have in a ski like this. So with some skis, when you see the integrated binding, when you see a more affordable price, you often see a narrower ski that's best on groomers, and there are benefits to skis like that, but if you're looking for a little bit more versatility and also a little bit more overall performance, I think this Stance 80 is great. You can buy it just like this, ski and binding, really actually quite a nice, solemn binding on this ski

 The ski will have greater grip right underfoot than what you've been used to, but it's still pretty loose in the tips and tails, so it's not like you're jumping up so much in performance that it's going to be punishing or hard to ski or just not that much fun. This is still a very, very fun ski that's still very easy to use. 80 underfoot is great on groomers, very quick edge to edge. I think it's wide enough to start taking these things off trail too

 So just cool that it kind of makes the cut into that ski test, but also extremely affordable. So Salomon uses a woodcore in this ski. It's a Poplar woodcore. Poplar is a great material for ski construction because it's light, but it's also strong

 I've got a Salomon Stance 80W for you today. Great women's ski that hits right in the middle of that intermediate range. And while a beginner could ski on this, it would be a great first set of skis for someone who's been out there a couple times and wants something to learn and progress on. It's also really great for an intermediate skier that's looking to make a jump to the next level
