First Ride On The Exway Wave Cruiser Electric Skateboard

 You can toggle turbo mode on and off. Having it on will maximize your top speed potential while having it off will maximize the amount of range that you can get. It has a smart turn on feature, which means that when you turn the remote on, it will automatically turn the board on. Usually, eSkaters will have to turn the remote on and the board on separately

 Starting at $699 US dollars for the hub motor version and $749 for the right kit setup, the amount of value that you get out of this electric skateboard, I think is a no brainer. But I'm gonna show you the ups and the downs in this Exway Wave review so you can make your mind up for yourself. I'll take you through all of the performance tests, including the range test and the top speed test in just a sec. But first I wanna show you some of the extra cool features that the Exway Wave has so that you can really understand why I love this board so much

 And I mean, $827, a little steep in that price, but for what you get, integrated tail light, big motors, selectable wheels, swappable battery, a really nice, comfortable deck, a kicktail that also has a swappable puck on the back there. So if you do burn out that puck there by scraping it, you can swap that out. There's just a lot of really nice features inside this board that I can't recommend enough, but the $827 price range is a little bit more expensive than anticipated. But I just think you got to take the pros with the cons

 I think Exway has really gone above and beyond as far as creating one of these boards that allows you to swap the batteries, but then also keep the ESC completely separated, which does also have the integrated tail light you saw there as well. I think it's just a really cool feature. I mean, I wish more boards did it these days, and I wish there was more of a standard that had these built in tail lights or these built in features that just give you a little bit more of a personality with these boards. It makes Exway stand out a little bit beyond the competition when it comes to this situation

 It's able to be able to throw in your backpack, the trunk of your car and be able to pick up and run with you. So I mean, over a board that's also at this price range, you can find something that has a much longer range per se. But again, you can also pick up another battery and just swap it out. So at this point I have 20ish to 22, 20 miles of range with two batteries

 Let's now talk about the features that are unique to the X-Way Wave. Battery. The X-Way Wave has a quick swappable battery. This is not like most boards that claim to have swappable batteries, where you actually need tools and a few minutes

 I am pretty sure competition for this in this price range EOvan DTS That might be comparable But as far as I can tell I mean I have limited knowledge of East skating and long boards things like that with all that being said price range things like that.  Another thing I need to mention here is the bearings that come with the board, those bearings tend to fail quicker than usual, so I did my range test when I received the board and after that ride, the bearings already start making noises as a sign of failure, it is not that hard to fix and it is pretty cheap but still, at that price tag of $1799, I am expecting some good quality bearings. So here are some tips from my experience with the Zeus Pro that I think is worth mentioning here. First, if you prefer a more bouncy feel when carving, some riptide crank bushings are necessary, I personally use riptide crank fatcon with barrel on the front and choppy with barrel on the rear, this step setup offers a little extra fun and stability to the ride feel. In terms of the option that OnBoard offers, I will go for the P42A battery configuration instead of the M58, since P42A is a discharge cell, the sag in the power will be much lower than the M58 capacity cell when you are running low on battery, plus it will save you an extra $100
