 When it comes to wheels, they're opting for a softer version of their Urethane. I have a demo board, so I'm still rocking the 80As. The production models of the Flex are going to be shipping out with 76A durometer wheels, and I just imagine going softer will just make for a more comfortable, smooth ride. If you don't go with the Riot and you go with the hub motors, I think that X-Way makes some of the best Urethane just in general

 Just got some scuffs and scratches on the motor mounts and it seemed to have held up pretty well. Belts look good even after off-roading and going down some curbs. In the future, just please try and be a little more realistic with your range and not just X-Way, but all electric skateboard companies out there. Give us a range of ranges for range

 The deck, the wheels, the trucks, the trucks. Yeah, I can't wait to beat this thing up even more. I'm going to definitely get it out on some more rides, but these were my first impressions. Let me know what you guys think of the X-Way Flex

 The looks of the board. This thing just looks great. It has a boosted look. Those of you looking for a boosted board alternative, especially now with boost being gone, I think the X-Way is probably going to be your best bet

Exway Flex: PERFECT Budget Electric Skateboard...almost

 The X-Way Flex is the perfect budget electric skateboard, almost.

 I just spent the last couple of days riding and rocking

 with this board right here, the X-Way Flex.

 I have ridden and tested out all of their boards,

 the X1, which was awesome, the X1 Pro, which was even more awesome,

 and now the Flex, which is following along the same trend.

 Before I get into my first impressions of this board after a few rides,

 let's go ahead and just take a look at some of the specs.

 It may well be the best budget electric skateboard out there.

 If your budget is around $650 for the hub motor kit or $700 for the Riot,

 If you like flexy decks, well, it's in its name.

 It might look like a budget board deck, I mean, compared to their Pro,

 which is so slim and sleek and very unique, by the way.

 It's really hard for it to come across through camera,

 Not once while flexing it did I ever feel like it was going to break.

 Imagine having a flexy deck just makes riding over bumps and cracks

 That combined with this squishy grip tape,

 not sure how much it actually helps, but I would much rather have it than not.

 I think the deck on the X-Way Flex might be one of the best,

 if not the best, deck that has been set up on a budget build.

 Like its namesake, the Flex on there is pretty great.

 For those of you who are fans of a flexy deck, this thing surely does.

 I mean, like its namesake, the X-Way Flex does not compromise in that department.

 Currently riding the board, it's not so stellar.

 As far as this right now, this path has a lot of weird bumps on it.

 But carving it up on here is pretty fun.

 So even if you do go for the sleeves instead of the full wheel with the Riot pack,

 it would still be a very good feeling wheel.

 but I still wouldn't want to ride it over wet roads or dusty or loose gravelly roads as you can slide out,

 Maybe you're purposely trying to slide out.

 When it comes to the trucks, that's what shows me that X-Way really cares,

 and they're really trying to push this to the next level.

 Firstly, not many electric skateboard companies, especially those based in China, make their own trucks,

 and X-Way decided to develop their own CNC-precision trucks that they're calling the Triss trucks.

 These are actually forged, so they're going to be much stronger than your standard, cheaper, cast truck.

 And because they're CNC, they're actually going to be stronger than a cast truck, too.

 Keep in mind that this is their budget board, and, well, a set of precision longboard trucks

 go for around $200 to $400 alone just for the trucks.

 The fact that you're getting trucks like this on this budget board just blows my mind.

 X-Way, what the heck are you doing? How are you giving us something so good?

 They carve awesomely. They carve well. I ride pretty tight, and I was still able to carve pretty good.

 I don't know if I could really feel the difference between the trucks, honestly,

 but I mean, knowing that they're CNC-more precise, having less slop in there, it just feels good to know.

 But where I really did feel a change was where I slapped on the CNC-precision washer,

 and that just helped make everything so much more stable.

 The carve was still there, but I just felt like I had more control over the turning process throughout the whole thing,

 and I felt really stable while going at higher speeds.

 The fact that you're getting these trucks, these trucks are so good. How are you giving me these trucks at this price?

 Like I said before, you get two different kinds of motors on the X-Way Flex, just like the X-Way X1 Pro.

 You can go hubs with this, or you can go with their Riot Pack Version 2, which is what I'll be riding and talking about in this video.
