These shoes are great for most climbing types, especially the most technical in nature, but the lace-up uppers take some time to take off and put on, which could encourage kids to leave them on for long periods of time. The price is also higher than many other kids climbing shoes, but being that this shoe is designed for the hard climbing youth, when compared to aggressive adult shoes, the price is actually pretty good.

 This will be the shoe i wear just because it has that balance of edging and comfort. So i can just keep it on all day if you're anywhere in that realm, so anyone who trad climbs or you just do sport multi-pitches and you want a comfortable, high-performing shoe. This is the perfect shoe for you. I really don't think, there's anything better out there

 Instead of having to wear a crack shoe and then bring another edging shoe, the last portivo was designed. You have this little divot under the toe. You have that really stiff sole. It'S all designed to make this shoe comfortable, but also really good at edging, and it's good at edging

 La sportiva did some changes to make it more comfortable, and i think they did a really good job. The padding on the ankles is super good. Just like the first time you put the shoe on, you can feel the quality of the construction and the material. It'S really soft

Really comfortable shoe. Break-in period was pretty quick and I can climb in them for hours. Sadly the stitching is already coming apart under the loops on the back on the right shoe. It looks a little weak on the other shoe as well

 Attempted to contact La Sportiva about it but their website isn't allowing warranty requests and the phone number is busy. The connection for the tongue of the shoe is very narrow so I have to be very deliberate about how I put them on. If not the tongue gets folded, putting a pressure point on the top of my foot. Hoping support will work with me on a warranty
