Is there a good printer that can be out of the way, print Letter size, scan A4 size, and accept files from my android?

I run an ebay business, and I love my LP 2844 thermal printer. Its old as hell, but I bought it used for like $40, I can get free labels from UPS and it's printed several thousand labels for me while needing no maintenance or extra costs such as ink, toner, or paper.   It's too heavy, too bulky to justify carrying around for average "adequate" quality. On the one trip I took it on, I left it in the trunk, and instead stopped by a WalMart along the way and bought a "disposable" $35 printer that I just left at the hotel for housekeeping/bell services to have when I was done, and had a family member ship me my trusty old ScanSnap S1100 scanner - and I got better results.  Your mileage may vary; I don't print a lot of documents these days - most of my work is saved and shared via .pdf files

We have used HP printers and All-in-ones since the early 1990s in our offices, so I am well familiar with the brand, and the quality.  This device simply did not live up to what I expected, and I returned it to Amazon because of that.  It's too heavy, too bulky to justify carrying around for average "adequate" quality. Returned - Reason: too heavy, too bulky for the quality of output

 I must say the one bright spot is that I was told I have a one year warranty. That's my next step. I'm hopeful.

 It gave me a link which essentially had me reload the program. Since I already have tried that several times I was reluctant but did it anyway and it was no help. They also referred me to a link for people who are having an extra page printed. That was no help whatsoever because my document feeder is picking up several pages at once, not just printing an extra blank page

 Computer says unrecognized device. Got Bluetooth working albeit not all the time. It's finicky. Now just after 90 days from purchase automatic document feeder is picking up several sheets at a time
