HP OfficeJet 250

Its old as hell, but I bought it used for like $40, I can get free labels from UPS and it's printed several thousand labels for me while needing no maintenance or extra costs such as ink, toner, or paper. Now compare that to my roommates HP OfficeJet 8020, which constantly seems like it has something wrong with it and needs costly new ink, you see why I'm wondering if there are full size thermal printers.

I have an HP OfficeJet 250 but it's 2nd black cartridge just started only half-printing about 6 months after I replaced it last at $40/cartridge it seem uneconomical. I was going to go for the HP LaserJet m15 (smallest laser printer you can buy). But then I saw there are portable "thermal printers" available which are much smaller. Anyone used one?.

It was clunky, and the wireless connection was appreciated but extremely clunky (I had to disconnect from 2G while connected to it via wifi to send a pdf from my phone app). Is there a good printer that can be out of the way, print Letter size, scan A4 size, and accept files from my android?. The Epson Tango X (minus the Alexa, ew. ), the Epson Workforce W-110, HP Officejet 250, and Canon Pixma TR150 are all similar to the physical profile I'm looking for, but none of them come with a scanner built in.

Overall, if you're looking for a portable printer with a scanner for basic needs, this model should fit the bill.

It is set up for both wi-fi and USB cable of course. Important note: when making color prints, use the cable instead of wi-fi for most printers. I paid around $ 100 at Best Buy, but again that was three years ago. She should be able to pick up a nice HP OfficeJet or Deskjet combo for around $ 200 - 250.
