(Stronger than regular Epiduo) I’ve been using Epiduo and now Epiduo Forte for 3 years. So firstly fresh out of washing my face with a gentle cleanser I put on some type of Hyaluronic acid serum. I use the Snail Mucin but even the hyaluronic acid from The Ordinary should be fine. Then I immediately go in with a decent layer of QV with ceramides (think it’s been rebranded as eczema daily care)

Hi guys! I’ve been using Epiduo for about 2 weeks now and my skin cleared up pretty quickly (except now I get some huge, almost cystic, pimples :| ). The downside is that my skin literally BURNS SO BAD when I put on moisturiser. Especially my cheeks and my eyelids. 

I’ve tried the following and they’ve all made my skin burn so bad: 
- CeraVe Moisturising Lotion
- Rovectin Clean Lotus Water Cream 
- PURITO Oat-In Calming Gel Cream
- Vaseline (straight from the tub) 
- Vaseline Intensive Care Body Lotion 

I’m going insane and I don’t know what to do. I literally dread doing skincare now because of how the moisturising bit hurts. 

Q1: Does anyone know an extremely gentle but highly hydrating moisturiser for dry and highly sensitive skin?  

Q2: Can I use bio oil as a moisturiser with Epiduo? Or will it make me breakout?

 Sorry to say, I’m 5 days into this and about to quit. I will say, the product does not smell bad and it spreads easily. I’d recommend trying salicylic acid, and/or a retinoid like Differin or the LA-Roche Posay adapalene gel. Also remember to wear sunscreen!

I was really excited to try this product because I’ve heard good things about it and I’ve never used this type of product on my face but it definitely works wonders. Used to be called Melody [Music] Melody but this product is great if you have hyperpigmentation, either related to post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation or sun damage that you're looking to attempt to brighten up. This product has glycolic acid and alpha hydroxy acid that can exfoliate some of the superficial hyperpigmentation, brighten up and even up skin tone. But importantly, it also has Kojic acid
