Returning paddle and replacing with another MX. Update - received new paddle. Played three hours and there’s grit chips already. Thought the grit was molded on the carbon face and not sprayed on

Personally, I've been rocking with a Rally Tyro 2 Pro for about a year (I bought a pair for about 50 bucks each at a slight discount). I can't say I've had much issues with their performance--though I have noticed some annoying wear and it seems some issues are starting to appear. Maybe it's because I'm younger and have less readily available disposable income (the life of a poor college kid amirite) but the highest I could reasonably see myself spending on a paddle is maybe $100.

He says more touch and better control at 7oz weight. The paddle arrived 2 days earlier than expected. The box was huge and the paddle was wrapped only in plastic, it arrived with a small ding in the middle, probably due to the way it was shipped.

Next time I would go lighter and pay more attention to the handle. That said, I'm hitting passing shots, have a decent serve, and am countering opponents spins.

I was afraid the Lite model would not generate enough power - not to worry, the ball snaps off the face with more than adequate pace. The liter weight also makes it a quicker tool for catching hot volleys. Could not be happier with this paddle. If you are going to be playing a lot of singles I would recommend getting the standard weight

I love it because it's lightweight, makes it maneuverable. You can move it quickly. I like that it's a polymer core. It's going to last a long time
