My question is where skill level wise can I expect to coming in at. I was formerly around a 4.0 to 4.5 in tennis. I'm thinking about taking a group class to understand the basics and differences from tennis. Any advice or info would be great. Thanks!

<p>Edit: My injury is my left wrist (I&#39;m right handed). Also thank you for all the tips and advice. I&#39;m not looking to jump right into tournaments or anything like that. I was never too concerned with my tennis rating. My playing style in tennis is kind of a mix between ground strokes and net play. I feel like my strategy and soft play is what will need the most work. My local community has a few pickleball clubs and groups so I&#39;m looking to join one and take a few lessons to get the basics down. Thanks everyone!</p>

 Returning paddle and replacing with another MX. Update - received new paddle. Played three hours and there’s grit chips already. Thought the grit was molded on the carbon face and not sprayed on

Damaged

 He says more touch and better control at 7oz weight. The paddle arrived 2 days earlier than expected. The box was huge and the paddle was wrapped only in plastic, it arrived with a small ding in the middle, probably due to the way it was shipped.

Great paddle

 I was afraid the Lite model would not generate enough power - not to worry, the ball snaps off the face with more than adequate pace. The liter weight also makes it a quicker tool for catching hot volleys. Could not be happier with this paddle. If you are going to be playing a lot of singles I would recommend getting the standard weight

I've been using it when you first buy it. It has a lot of grit on it very grippy And now after about three weeks to a month, there's no more grit. No more spin And not as much spin

 The light the lead tape does help If you do want to buy lead tape, you got to go I think to a tennis shop That's why I go to a tennis shop and they have lead tape. They usually use a lead tape for rackets and stuff, but I do notice that you know, a little more Yeah, I do notice a little more with the the lead tape it does actually it does improve it The only problem is you put too much lead tape on it And the paddle becomes too heavy. Some of the pro guys do the whole rack it and the whole paddle, excuse me, they lead tape the whole paddle and To make it more solid. I guess to hit it harder, but it also too much lead tape You can't get your paddle up quick enough

 I just had enough lead to go to right here and I notice When they were doing a speed check on all the paddles the paddles that had lead on them They were a little faster. So I had some leftover stuff so I'll I'll peel this off a little bit later after the demonstration and Stuff, but here we go. I'm gonna give it the tap test here and You can hear You know pretty solid that's why they probably put lead down here To make it more solid a hit because it's probably a dead spot down here. That's why they got that the lead weight, but The center is good And not bad, you know the ends are the high pitch So it's got a good hitting spot to it The only noticed part is is right around in this spot here is a little bit deader But overall, it's it's good

 So it will slow down your your speed and reactions to the ball So this is the first time I've done this So this is my review of the Ben Johns Franklin Pickleball Paddle And I like it. I think I like it better now since with the tape the lead tape I'm going to go and redo the tape and stuff But I don't but I don't want to put too much lead on it. It makes it harder to react. So I'm going to give it a thumbs up for this Ben Johns Franklin Paddle, so Hopefully this is going to be a good review Hopefully this review was helpful to you even with the lead tape I put on here and stuff

 Today I'm making a video on my Ben Johns Franklin Pickleball

 This was his paddle he was using when he was with Franklin

 But now he's moved on and he was using this paddle

 During the tournaments and stuff and making a lot of and doing a lot of wins

 So if you do pick a paddle you try to find out what the top pros are using and stuff

 because they know the paddle if you use a

 We'll do a tap test on this. But if you use a cheap paddle, you're not gonna get good results

 so try to follow what the the pros are playing with and

 See what they're gonna do. But right now we're gonna do the Franklin Pickleball

 There's a Ben Johns signature one. That's the one

 Franklin Pickleball it is of course, I think it's made in China made in China and
