 All right. It's time to break down what boards are comparable to, in my opinion, the best directional powder board put out for 2018. That's right. I'm backing this board hard

The Endeavor Archetype Snowboard Review

 In this video we're going to talk about the Endeavour Arch type. It's a swallowtail with

 taper and setback camber. This board is a powder slain beast. The flex pattern isn't

 domineering. It's actually kind of soft and you can engage this board how you want. It's

 good in tight trees. It's good in wide open pow. It's even good on a groomer if you need to carve.

 This was my favorite directional powderboard for this year. It was a board that it did everything

 super well. It slashed. This is going to be the sleeper hit powderboard in my opinion. If you can

 find one, buy it. This board features Endeavour's hover camber, which is a setback traditional

 camber with rocker in the nose. So what happens is you load it up and the rocker engages. This

 is one of those things that it's beneficial. This is why you're seeing it on their powder boards.

 It gives you that snap you need, but it still gives you the ability to float due to the fact

 that the nose of the board will actually be elevated up. This board is available in regular

 size. Okay, so let's take a look at the Endeavour Archetypes Flex Pattern. Softer in the nose,

 stiffest in the tail, moderately stiffer underfoot and through the middle with a lot of torsional

 give. This is a board that's very soft and playful for a powderboard. You're going to notice that

 right away that you can twist and flex this board any way you want. When it comes to stability in

 wide open pow, it's great. Run it out chunder and bumps, bend your knees because you're going to

 feel everything. This is a very lively board. You're going to be flexing and bending with every

 contour, pumping the bumps, doing whatever it takes to stay on top. This isn't a board that I

 got to wash out because I was riding it mainly in fresh deep pow, but if I was riding crusty shit,

 I could expect this board to wash out. Okay, so this has their hover camber, which is that setback

 camber. So you're going to get a lot of pop out of the back foot, and this board snaps aggressively.

 You're going to just feel the rebound and pop out of this board. You're going to be able to send it

 to the moon when you want to. The added benefit to the taper and swallow tail of this board is

 you can get that tail to sink and then hit harder snow and really pop out of fresh powder. This is a

 board, as I've said, that has a lot of snap to it. Okay, so it's a swallow tail, so you know you're

 not really going to be buttering on the tail. You're going to be popping up, landing on the nose,

 and swiveling and sizzling. Well, that softer flex in the nose coupled with the shape of this board

 gives you a platform for really locking into butters. You can just do a 180, hold that press,

 ride that butter out, then pop back out and get around. This board is amazing at doing pow

 butters. It's probably one of my favorite boards for doing pow butters. Then again, this is also

 my favorite powder board for 2018. You should buy three. Okay, so we know it's a powder board,

 but how will it carve when you get on a groomer and you're cutting back to the chair? You can rip

 it. This board is so playful that you can manipulate the carve however you want. You can drive it from

 the center. You can drive it from the back foot, which if you do drive it from the back foot with

 that camber profile, you're going to be able to load it up and really snap it out at the turn.

 You're going to notice how quick and nimble this board gets on edge and how fast it sets it. This

 is a board for doing tight quick turns, long drawn out carves, deep euro carves, full circle carves.

 That's right, full circle carves. You can do it on this board. I did. And just about anything in

 between. So who's this board for? It's for someone that's going out on those deep days,

 someone that is just a straight powder hound. And you should be riding this in a powder day.

 This is the best powder board I rode for 2018. I love this thing. You can really get it to float

 with ease. It's nimble and playful where you want it. You can take it in tight trees. You can take

 it wide open bowls. It doesn't matter. You can do whatever you want with this board in pow. I love

 this thing. This is hands down, just one of the greatest pow boards I've ridden in forever.

 All right. It's time to break down what boards are comparable to, in my opinion, the best

 directional powder board put out for 2018. That's right. I'm backing this board hard. And here's

 the other boards that I think stack up to it. The Gnu OG Carver. Yeah, you might think it's a carving

 board, but it'll still kill it in pow. The Moss Swallow. 58, 62, whatever size of the Moss Swallow.

 It stacks up to this board. The Burton Working Stiff. The Rome Blur. The Dinosaurs Will Die Pow

 Reaper. All right. So now you've decided what snowboard you're going to get, and you're going

 to decide where you're going to buy it. If you're shopping local, awesome. Slap your local shop
