I also bought this as a replacement for the eyebrow kit. It is really dark! I have come to put only the tiniest amount on my eyebrow brush. Like barely touching the tip of the brush onto the product and then I blend it out as much as possible. It works this way for me

It was a tad dry when I opened it, but with one drop of mineral oil this brow pomade is wonderful! I keep a bottle of mineral oil for any cream cosmetic that dries out, one drop and mix and it's good as new! The color is exactly what I was looking for as the Anastasia dip brows are too dark or too light no matter what I do. This is the perfect soft brown (lighter than Anastasia's soft brown but darker than the caramel). I've worn it all day with no real noticeable flaking or fading and I've worn sunglasses and safety glasses today, plus I frequently brush hair out of my eyes and generally brush my eyebrows on accident. I am pretty darn impressed with elf on this one

I usually purchase the milani dark brown pencil which is perfect color for my skin tone (sort of milk chocolate). I wanted to try something else so I purchased the elf brow cream in light brown after reading the reviews that said the dark brown was more black. The light brown was still too dark for my skin so It didn't work for me even after blending out it was still noticeably different from my brow. Other than the fact that elf cant seem to get the colors right, the brow cream glides on very well and is easy to apply, it also has a nice creamy consistency not dry at all

 I ordered a black espresso once again it is a very deep brown (I have black hair) so if you're heavy handed (this is PIGMENTED) you will have sharpie eye brows and you don't want that.

 But I recommend using a brow gel afterwards to hold your eyelashes into place. Then your lashes will look gorgeous. I like this product because it’s buildable and it lasts longer then a brow whiz and a brow pencil.

I bought this expecting a high pigment black and it is very lacking. I shook the liner up for several minutes trying to get that dark intensity everyone talks about and was left unimpressed.  I'm going to throw this way after this video and Yeah, that pretty much concludes this video I don't really know what else to say, but I will swatch this for you guys so I can show you how pigmented it is Sorry, my camera overheated when I was trying to swatch this for you guys So this is what it looks like and it is extremely fine It is extremely pigmented. You can use a light hand and it goes really thin or if you go really heavy You get a thicker line.  Welcome to my channel. In today's video, I want to do a really quick review on this product right here. This is the NYX Epic Ink Liner. They come in two different shades of black and a brown

 I just I just like that's just what I do. I like it and This product started bleeding and smudging everywhere when I tell you it was smudging to the point where it ruined My makeup. I had to wash my entire makeup off and restart it which is extremely frustrating So the product started smudging into my inner tear duct. It started smudging upwards into my Eyelid lines if that makes any sense and it started bleeding downwards It was actually getting places that the eyeliner should have never been to start off with So I did purchase this product a while ago and I completely forgot that I had it I thought maybe I just forgot about it and it was just one of those things where I was running low, so I filmed a tutorial for you guys, which is already up and I tried reaching for it again to do my eyeliner and it did the same exact thing so I had to go in with a different eyeliner and I had to try to stop it really fast and just add more eyeshadow to Kind of just stop all the issues that I was having and then try to fix it by going in with a thicker liner But if I can still find the clip, I'll show you guys what it looks like So I don't know if you can tell or if you can even see on camera But the eyeliner is literally bleeding upwards I'm not sure if maybe I got a bad batch or if this is how a lot of them are and nobody's just saying anything Or if that's how all of them are and nobody's saying anything But as far as what I recommend this absolutely not it It's probably one of the worst marker Eyeliners that I've ever tried and I have no intentions of purchasing again

 It's one of the more interesting displays that they have in the drugstore, so I've just been kind of going through and testing some stuff off, but I will take a break from NYX for a little while here and try out some other products. I always look at reviews and they’re always highly rated but my eyeliner always smudges…I’ve tried drugstore like Milani, maybelline, NYX, I’ve tried Tarte, idk what else to try? Do you guys have any holy grails that you swear by?

liner that doesn’t smudge for oily eyelids?

 The only issue is the brush starts to fray and leak after a few weeks, the liquid gets everywhere and starts to thicken the line a lot. I wanted to give this eyeliner the benefit of the doubt but after reading some reviews I realize I'm not the only one with this issue.

Excellent formula. Less than excellent brush

 I love KVD but it can be pricey sometimes. So I gave this liner a try. My pros for this liner is that it is very pigment. I will say it has more pigment then KVD

The price point for this eyeliner is pretty cool, but it isn't as good as, say Mac's black eyeliner pen equivalent. It stays on all day for sure if you're careful but I have found after awhile it will start to fade and smudge especially if it's a really humid day.  Sometimes the pen itself can be finicky too, either no ink will come out or it will suddenly be bleeding everywhere and I have to to blot up the ink with a tissue until it stops.  So I like it as a nice cheap eyeliner and it works for sure but I definitely have used better quality pens
