Button feel: Probably my biggest dissapointment with the Relacon. I do want to want to specify that there's nothing really wrong with the buttons. I haven't had any functional problems with them, they get the job done, but they don't *feel* good at all.

 When I do switch hands and fingers, I am able to manage and not cause that type of cramping. Doing this also helps you to find the most relaxed sort of default ways to hold this. One way is if you slide your hand back, so that your first and second fingers are only at the very edge of each trigger button, then that promotes a hand position that is curled at an angle very close to the natural resting postion of your hand.  One final considerataion is that your success with this mouse will be linked to the task you most hope it will benefit

 We should be grateful they did not make this thing heavy for no reason, or three times this cost for no reason. This is simply a great product for a great price. I am thrilled with this purchase! Put the batteries in it and the weight is perfect!

 My average-sized hands are maybe a small bit larger than what is ideal for this. Really, the bottom line is that if you are a person who wants to hold your mouse in your hand, not working it on the desktop, then I am convinced that this is the model to get, especially if you want it to be discreet. But that is why this seems like such an ideal mouse for giving a presentation, because it is nice and small in your hand and not like the handle-bar look it would have if it was the most ideal comfort for a large hand. Personal life story over, let's actually talk about the trackball. It's small. The ball itself is a lot smaller than you will find in almost every other commercially available trackball

Just lay your hand on your mouse once, and you&rsquo;re all set for eight hours straight without needing to move it again (aside from getting up to go to the bathroom). Of course, your thumb will be getting a workout the whole time.

That&rsquo;s because this mouse uses a trackball to move the cursor. It&rsquo;s not a new approach, but at $50 and with 2.4GHz and Bluetooth support, the Ergo M575 is more advanced than what you would have gotten in the &lsquo;90s.
Using it will take some practice, of course, but it feels like a dream in your hand. It completely eliminates strain from repetitive motions, and the wide body perfectly contorts to my hand shape. Again, it does require my thumb to do a lot of movement, but if there&rsquo;s anything decades of gaming has taught me, it&rsquo;s that my thumbs are pretty resilient when it comes to carpal tunnel syndrome. The rest of my hand, not so much.
Of course, speaking of gaming, not being able to move the mouse&rsquo;s body itself does come with some struggles. For instance, while this isn&rsquo;t our best gaming mouse list, let&rsquo;s not kid ourselves. You&rsquo;re probably not constantly swapping between a gaming and work mouse with your home setup. If you were hoping to use this mouse to moonlight in games, think again. While its trackball can reach a DPI of up to 2000, it&rsquo;s harder to do controlled flicks or steady tracking with it. Not common use cases on the job, but very common in games.
Clicking-and-dragging also takes some rewiring at first, as I&rsquo;m not used to using both my thumb and my index finger when doing so. It took a bit of thought to remember to let go of my index finger when I was done dragging, but not my thumb. Similarly, it can be hard to precisely highlight text with a trackball.
Most of these issues, aside from the mouse not being well-suited to games, are easy enough to fix with practice. And once you do, your wrists will thank you. Your desk might thank you too. While the M575 is a bulky mouse, it also paradoxically has a small footprint because you don&rsquo;t need to move it when using it. It doesn&rsquo;t even need a mousepad, making it great for people with small desks or keyboard trays.
Like the Logitech M510, the M575 is compatible with the Logitech Options software, which lets you remap its three extra buttons, check battery level, swap the left/right click and adjust DPI. The customization on offer here is fairly robust, and allows you to set a button to open programs, control media, enter certain key combinations and the like. Plus, you can set the mouse to use different settings depending on which program you have open.
If you like trackball mice, this is one of the best modern options available.

The Best Trackball Mouse - Spring 2022

 This did slight help with wrist pain. I felt that the discomfort just shifted to different area. The mouse is a bit bulky and the ergonomic design is not for everyone. May be it is good of you have large hands

 The learning curve for using this sort of mouse is pretty minimal, especially if you've played games on console and use a joystick to move the in game cursor.  I have a couple of personal issues with this mouse. The ergonomics for me are not that optimal as: my hands are big and I prefer a more vertical tilt. The mouse would feel great for me if the tilt was slightly more aggressive and my hand (which is slightly above average) hangs off the side of the mouse

 Today we're going to be checking out the Logitech Ergo M575 mouse. Now this mouse is in the Ergo

 lineup and Logitech makes a few different Ergo or Ergonomic types of mice. They have like the

 vertical mice where it moves around on your desk and it doesn't have a trackball. And then they

 also have these type of mice where they don't move around on your desk and your thumb pretty much

 does all the work with the trackball. And with that being said let's kick things off by checking

 out what was included in the box. So the mouse does come in a cardboard box and it has the Logitech

 brand colors all over it. And if we actually open the box what you're going to get is the mouse of

 course a USB-A wireless dongle receiver so you can plug this mouse with USB or Bluetooth. And last

 but not least a quick start guide that will show you some of the basic features on how to use the

 mouse. Now if you look at this mouse here you can see that we have it in this off white color which

 is what Logitech calls it on their website. And they also have a different color called the

 graphite color and that's going to be more of a dark themed color mouse. So now let's get into

 the design as well as the build quality of the mouse. So overall this mouse is constructed fairly

 well with its fully plastic build and this doesn't feel like cheap plastic. This feels like it's

 fairly durable plastic. It definitely can take a beating if you accidentally drop it or if you're

 traveling with it. Now the mouse is made fully plastic on the outside and the scroll wheel is

 not made of plastic. It's made of a grippy rubberized material. Now the trackball on the

 other hand this thing is not made of plastic. I'm actually not sure what the trackball is made of

 but it is coated in a very slippery shiny material. I don't know how to explain it or what it is

 but it definitely has like a lot of slipperiness to it which is going to be great because you can

 easily you know kind of just spin this thing and it can easily get a lot of distance on your screen

 or you can you know you move it slightly and it's going to give you a more of a precision kind of

 a traveling experience with the cursor on your desktop. If we look on the bottom of the mouse

 you're going to see that there are a bunch of rubber grips on the bottom which is going to be

 great because this mouse is meant to be stationary and that's really going to help with the mouse
