 I really would love to ski these in some fresh snow and just see how they fare there, because I think they would be really fun for more of a big mountain environment given that they're nice and stiff underfoot, but light in the tip so you can float. So I definitely would not ski this if you are a beginner skier. If you like a ski that's quick edge to edge, this is not going to be your best bet. If you like to take sort of longer, lazier GS turns kind of down the hill, these are going to be a good option for you

 All in all, these felt really good once you had them engaged and in the turn. They do take some work to get from edge to edge, but again, once you engage in the turn, they're really happy to just keep on carving for a long time. It's definitely a lot of work to get them to do shorter radius turns, so just keep that in mind. But yeah, they felt really stable once I had them on edge

 If you like a ski that's quick edge to edge, this is not going to be your best bet. If you like to take sort of longer, lazier GS turns kind of down the hill, these are going to be a good option for you. If you want something that's going to be fairly versatile in a higher snow area like Colorado, Utah, Pacific Northwest, these are going to be a good option. I don't think that these are going to be great in the east and on ice in general, just given that the tips are so soft and floppy

 It's definitely a lot of work to get them to do shorter radius turns, so just keep that in mind. But yeah, they felt really stable once I had them on edge. They're not the most playful ski. They're not really a freeride ski in my opinion

 So pretty interesting. You know I think a lot of skis and a lot of manufacturers are kind of doing the opposite by trying to build more torsional stiffness into the forebody of the ski and then a looser tail and these kind of have the opposite concept going on. And I said that carries over to its shape and it really does. So up here in the tip of the ski we get all that rocker

 Now it's not the easiest in softer snow conditions or off piece technical terrain but it certainly can do it. This tip shape again really helps a lot. Any forgiveness that this ski has, any kind of ease of use in situations like that is coming from this tip shape. It really lets you kind of steer the ski where you want to go without it feeling catchy and too aggressive in how it's kind of turning through technical terrain

 So if you want easier edge release that kind of surfy feel you might be better off in the M free line but those skis can't really touch the overall power of the M Pro. So it's a real skier ski. This is a real deal ski here. You have to kind of give it that input

 So not that it really changes how you're controlling your skis but it certainly adds a very very strong finish to a carve in particular. So say you're skiing pretty fast, you're laying over some big arcs, that tail just has a ton of stability to it and this is really a ski that you can trust at high speeds under a powerful aggressive skier. Now it's not the easiest in softer snow conditions or off piece technical terrain but it certainly can do it. This tip shape again really helps a lot

 This is even more toned down. So we're evolving here towards more traditional geometry. And I think that's kind of the story you're seeing across the brands. As things continue, not as much funky, weird looking skis on the market today

 And so this M Pro 99 feels to me a lot like home, very reminiscent of that same feel. Ski likes to be kind of upright, likes knee angulation, and has a really nice little sort of tip to tail action. If you're that kind of skier where you like to get on your tips and then dive forward and finish the turn a little bit back, this ski really likes to make those kinds of turns. So for me, it's just fun, fun, fun

Updating a top-selling model is risky business, but we think Nordica nailed last year’s revamp of the Enforcer line. The mid-width “94,” which replaced the outgoing 93-millimeter ski, is our favorite of bunch thanks to its sturdy yet fun personality. Notable tweaks to the design, including greater use of carbon fiber and a lighter-weight front end that features less plastic and more wood, increased versatility. The result is that the ski has lots of pop as you combine turns on and off trail, grips exceptionally well on hardpack, and still can put a lot of power down with two sheets of metal. In a very crowded field of all-mountain options, the Enforcer’s do-everything character puts it at the top of our 2022 rankings.

In testing the ski, one standout trait we kept coming back to was its natural and predictable performance. From the very first run, we felt completely comfortable: the ski is surprisingly easy to turn, excels at a range of speeds, and hits a sweet spot in width for true coast-to-coast appeal. On all but the deepest days—during a late-season storm cycle, we did find ourselves wishing for more floatation—the Enforcer is a great match. The Nordica Enforcer 94 is our favorite ski for carving and ranks well overall in our all-mountain lineup. The Enforcer 94's Carbon Chassis and TWO Sheets of metal combine to create our favorite blend of edge grip, rebound, and overall precision while carving at higher speeds. Coming in at a versatile turn radius of 17.1 meters, we found it intuitive in shorter SL and longer GS turns. While the Enforcer is ideal for carving on the groomers, it also provides excellent versatility across the mountain in all snow conditions.
The adjustments made for the 2021-2022 model include Nordica's Carbon Chassis and True Tip technologies. Along with a slightly wider 94-millimeter waist width, the Enforcer 94 gains slightly better off-piste performance than its predecessor's 93-millimeter width underfoot. Despite these improvements, this ski can be challenging to pilot through heavy or deep powder. Skiers spending lots of time in softer or deeper snow may be better suited with a ski that is wider. But for the more experienced skier looking to tip and rip across most snow conditions, look no further than the Enforcer 94.

 The same materials are in those skis, so carbon reinforced chassis, they're, basically integrating carbon into the fiberglass mock-up of the ski shed. Some weight fiberglass is a heavy material or actually the epoxy that they use when they are laying up that. Fiberglass is very heavy, so carbon buy integrated carbon they're, taking some of the weight out retain that torsional stiffness. All that stuff, true tip, is basically doing the same thing
