 This is a really, really good choice for somebody making their first step towards a carving board like this. So that's truly the beauty of Donik. And I think why you have such probably the most repeat, highest percentage of repeat customers of any brand, I'd assume. Well, I mean, we have some, we have customers that we're still working with that we started working with 20 years ago

 I've heard that you've called it flex 11 out of 10. Actually, I usually tell customers it's a 12 out of 10, but he built some softer versions for the nationals demo last year and a lot of the people liked that better. So, uh, and that's the, basically the boards that were on, uh, Vincent and Eugene were riding in the, this is snowboarding video. So just a bit softer of a flex, not so soft that it's a noodle or anything, but I ride the board extremely aggressively and with being basically 200 pounds or more, you know, it's a, it works for me to have that step of a board, but for a lot of you, it wouldn't

 So, uh, and that's the, basically the boards that were on, uh, Vincent and Eugene were riding in the, this is snowboarding video.  But up until now, I haven't been able to get too much more edge angle because the board's too narrow and it won't support a really steep gyro carve. So even if I had wanted to practice proper technique, my board's only going to give me so much of that technique before it boots out.  See, so then it was my knee. Yeah, I popped it up. I completely jumped over the kid that had a kid eating lunch. Yeah, snackables

 Okay, so here is the Rome Degenerati, Degenerati, Artifact Rocker, Degenerati Artifact Rocker. So it's a board I liked in the past and it's kind of a fun little board. You know, flat, kind of a like medium, medium soft flex, medium kind of in the between of there, real kind of soft, medium, medium soft in the tip and tail. As you can see it's flat to just a little bit of rocker

 And I could have done that all day. I just loved the way the board responded, you know, combined with the 390s. And it's got pretty good edge hold. It's got, I think it's got, let me see, I don't know if it has the quick grip or not

Rome Artifact Rocker Review

 This board is actually a really good carver. It has great edge hold on your toes and your heels. It really took me by surprise and I tried to throw a lot of weight into it on my heels and it just performed really well. I had a lot of fun on this guy riding high cascades parks

 The flex on this board is definitely pretty stiff. It takes a decent amount of work to make the board bend but that's also a big part of what makes it so lively and poppy. This board is actually a really good carver. It has great edge hold on your toes and your heels

 Hey what's up guys TJ here with Snowboard Pro Camp. Today we were riding up at High Cascade Snowboard Camp taking a look at the 2017 Rome Artifact Camber. Alright guys this is going to be a true twin freestyle snowboard. It has Rome's stay positive camber profile so full positive camber throughout the whole length of the snowboard

 As far as flex goes I would say it's rated about a six or seven. Definitely on the stiffer side of medium it's a pretty aggressive riding snowboard. It also has some other really cool tech in it. It has Rome's hot rod tech so basically just a fiberglass pop rod going right up the middle of the snowboard

2017 Rome Artifact Snowboard Review

 This board's fun for freestyle carves. Who's this board for? The jib rider that will hit bigger features and need some snap. Overall I like this board more than the regular artifact you get more snap it felt more predictable the sweet spot in the nose and the tail was a little bit bigger in my opinion it locked into presses better. It's just a more balanced park board that's what I really like about it

 With this board being the beefier version of the artifact you get a little more power out of it, a little more snap out of your carves and you lose some of that torsional flex for more torsional rigidity so when you're ankle steering it helps you just stay a little more dialed in. This really does come into play with a twitchy carve where you're just on uneven terrain you notice that it digs in a little bit better and you don't feel as many vibrations. Overall this board can carve, it's really designed for setup turns going into a feature but if you need to lay a part carve down every now and then you totally can and you never have to worry about it with this board. Like I said you get more power so when you're really driving that camber by pushing your knee in and pushing down on it you get it out of the tail and you can feel that slingshot you out of a turn
