I've been researching the Iron Ranger for months and finally pulled the trigger. I am disappointed in the quality control. The upper of the left boot is stitched 1/8'' off center comparable to the right boot. To be clear, these are not supposed to be factory seconds, but that's what they seem to be

They have literally saved his feet as his old boots were giving him terrible foot pain and that was with having those boot for less than a year. Even when his old boots were new he said they never felt as comfortable as these do and since wearing them his foot pain has gone away. They fit as expected, arrived quickly and in perfect condition, could not be happier with this purchase!

I was hoping for more give/molding to the footbed but it didn't go as planned. I ended up just taking an insole out of an existing pair of shoes and using that. The insole wasn't very thick but it added some cushion underneath the ball of my feet and some arch support. I didn't necessarily want the arch support but I did want some cushion to ease the hot spots under my foot (ball of feet and under my heel)
