DeskHaus Apex Pro vs Steelcase Migration SE

I'm 5'6 and after looking around a bit i had narrowed down my choice to the Uplift V2, Fully Jarvis, Flexispot E7 and the Deskhaus Apex Pro, I wanted something that would be solid and last for a long time. I ended up going with the Apex Pro which probably is an overkill choice but i am quite happy with the Desk and it feels solid, hopefully it won't die on me but only time will tell. Shipping time was surprisingly fast, I paid about 380USD for shipping to Switzerland and the desk got here undamaged within a week.

I don’t have a Ology but a Steelcase Migration SE and this thing doesn’t wobble at all (unless I unnaturally try to force it to wobble then there is a slight wobble at maximum height). Built quality is great and you can simply tell that those things are built to last. Considering that the Ology is not only more expensive but also seems even more robust, I am pretty sure that this thing is solid as a rock.

The color of the desk top that I chose is very nice against all my black peripherals. I love that the desk comes with the option to have the contour in the front or just straight across. I chose the contoured version and I'm glad I did as it's much easier and more ergonomic to use when standing and walking.

In my opinion this desk deserves more than five stars. I love the looks, I like the build quality, I like the functionality and I find it an excellent value when considering price-performance. Well, I actually like this so much that I ordered a second unit to replace another desk and I believe that is the ultimate rating - Yes, I would buy it again, and I did.

1.) How big of a desk do I want? 2.) What table top material would I go with? Bamboo, real wood, or am I okay with laminate.

The price is well below what this product is worth, and I would love to return to buy my next desk from ApexDesk.

On the note of cost, Herman Miller is very high quality, and their cable management system is pretty slick. Once you start adding things like grommets, extended height, etc, they get REAL expensive, and you may as well go for a Desk Haus. Barebones Herman Miller is about 400 to 500 more than a Steelcase/Fully/UPLIFT desk.
