 When seated, I have it at about 25". When raised to my preferred height, it's solid as a rock even on carpet (though I never need to raise it all the way).

 You're supposed to double press the button you want to move the desk to that height. When I double press the first time, the desk never responds. It's as if the first time wakes the desk up and the second time I double press it will move. This really isn't a big deal because it always does move after the second round, but it is a little annoying that it doesn't operate exactly as it should

IN SUMMARY (finally), most desks that do what this desk does, as well as it does it are twice the price, if not 3 or 4 times more, and because I wanted to buy a walking pad as well, I couldn't afford a $3,000 desk right now. I am VERY VERY pleased with this desk for the price (and yes, I PAID FULL PRICE for this desk, it was not given to me for review)! The walking pad I bought was about the same price as the desk so I was able to sell my gym grade elliptical machine and buy both the desk and the walking pad. I easily put double digit miles in each day at my walking desk and it has changed my life! I have already lost 5 pounds and feel better than ever! This desk should be part of your new years resolution if you spend a lot of time at the computer like I do. I ABSOLUTELY recommend it, especially for the price!  The color of the desk top that I chose is very nice against all my black peripherals. I love that the desk comes with the option to have the contour in the front or just straight across. I chose the contoured version and I'm glad I did as it's much easier and more ergonomic to use when standing and walking.

 The columns used to be closer together. We increased the column distance about two inches so this puts this back one more inch. Think about hey you only want to spend $600 but you buy a base online, you then spend two weeks waiting for it, one week with it, another week returning it to finally decide that hey I should have just spent, this frame is like $660. Our Apex Pro is $927. So you should have spent what, $250 more, saved all that time and all that hassle and you have all that productivity back

Spoke with two nice folks in customer service today. Missing grommet - on it's way. Cable Management Tray - credit to be issued. Non-functioning desk - new undercarriage on it's way (of course, I will have to assemble the new one, disassemble the original, box it up and send it back

The desk is functioning exactly as I need with the motor so far. I don't stand a great deal, although I'm trying to more just to get out of my chair. I'm a software architect as well as gamer, so most of my life is spent at my desk and it's important to me that I can have some decent posture and enjoy where my butt is planted all day and most nights.  I would much prefer a limit well into the thousands, or better yet, a similar "whitelist" phone. (i.e., where you would enter the only phone numbers that you don't want to block

I bought this primarily for the call blocking feature, and so far, it is working fine. The problem that will probably eventually occur is reaching the phone's stated limit of only 250 blocked numbers. The first few days, I was adding up to about a dozen scammer/robocaller numbers per day, and it has successfully blocked them since. But after about 2 weeks, I'm still adding about 4 or 5 new bad numbers per day, so at this rate, it won't be all that long before I hit the 250 limit

 Fortunately, no mounting hardware is included. Rather, instructions (in fine print) say to use mounting hardware that is suitable to the location chosen for the bracket. In other words, don't mount this to dry-wall unless you use moly-bolts or something equivalent; the base weighs enough that most screws would be pulled loose from dry-wall after a short time. Volume boosting feature seems to be a marketing feature more than anything else

Suitable for hearing/sight impaired - Complicated setup

 I have 90 minute conferences so it is a challenge to hold the phone to my ear for that long. On my Uniden I used a headset which was really workable. Panasonic does not make a headset so I am trying to use a good Plantronics noise-canceling headset as I did on the Uniden phone and the connection for it is a joke on this phone. Most people cannot hear me well and I don't hear them
