Having said that, the monitor itself for the games that do support it are so much more immersive and well worth buying this monitor. The Stand: A HUGE improvement over the previous model (34UM57-P), which had a cheap, lightweight plastic stand that was not adjustable for the most part. This one has a metal core and is fully adjustable and does not allow the panel to rock back and forth like the last one

The panel I got did not have any major backlight bleed. There was a bit of a noticeable IPS glow in the bottom left corner, but it was not any worse than other IPS panels that I've seen. I spent a lot of time, in fact. For the first time ever (literally), I bought a color calibration tool and used it with a professional providing guidance to ensure I correctly followed each step. Not even the color calibrator is able to make Dell 27" Gaming Monitor S2721DGF color-accurate! Not for work, not for gaming, not for casual activities. There is no height, no angle, no setting that resolves my issue

Colors are incredibly accurate - a quick calibration shows gamma at 48%, 25%, and 10% to be nearly perfect (if calibrating at 2.2, etc., etc.) My monitor also appears to be free from even a single stuck or dead pixel

Given the space, three monitors side by side wasn't an option, so I did the next best thing. This ultrawide monitor in a vertical configuration is perfect for my needs. Image quality is fine for my needs, HDMI in is an option, and I like the fact that it automatically sleeps and wakes on computer boot/shutdown. Limited on space but need a lot of screen? Try this out for size!

If feels quality. I am comparing this to the MSI 24 VA curved panel in one of the photos. Viewing angles are much nicer than the curved monitor. Really glad I went with an IPS this time
