 These are way more durable. I also like the little pockets on the outside. I put my lift pass in there for easy scanning. Also just remembered the glove liners are great for when it’s extra cold

Been holding up great! I’ve had them for a couple years (26 days of snowboarding) and pretty much no signs of wear. On my last pair of gloves, the palm got cut up day one from carrying my snowboard and then they weren’t very water proof anymore. These are way more durable. I also like the little pockets on the outside

 And with a tight fit comes cold fingers. I bought Dakine's based on a google search listing of warmest winter gloves. My hands get cold easily and these gloves for me are not warm enough.

I am going to keep them but keep an eye out for warmer gloves. I gave Dakine a fair shot by trying Scouts and Titans but I need a warm glove.

They seem nice but fit is tight and not warm enough for me

 When temps are 25 deg+ I go without the liners or they are too hot, having those are a great option for the really cold days and work great. No complaints with these gloves, reason why I bought them again, can't go wrong. Hand stay warm and dry, great quality and long lasting. I have larger hands, normally XL (rare occasions/brands an XXL) and the XL dakine fits perfect

Fits well, very warm and is very waterproof. I skied with just the liners on a warm day and they were perfect. The adaptive touch worked great. They pair well together and don’t snag or bunch inside

 Well, Wully here. It's getting that time of year guys. Winter Gloves. Bushcraft Winter

 Gloves. These are the Outdoor Research Askel Gloves guys. Let's have a look at them. Ok,

 this is them. What are they? Well, they are 100% leather gloves. Ok, but they're a lined

 leather glove. Alright, so what they have is wool, acrylic and polyester lining. Ok,

 so I got these. These are the small. Size 7, which is the small. And I have to say they

 are small. Ok, now normally I would wear size 7 gloves all day long, but I think it's just

 the fact that these are lined that makes them a little bit smaller. If you know what I mean.

 A little bit tighter. But here is what I have found with leather gloves and with wearing

 leather gloves. And that is that you need to wear them. Because if you don't wear them

 they tend to shrink down a little bit. Ok, so I've waxed these. I've put a little bit

 of oil on them just to loosen them up a little bit guys. And they are nice gloves. Now these,

 you know, they look nice. They're warm. Ok, but let's see how they function. First thing,

 they are not touch screen compatible. Ok, so how do I know that? Well, I'm recording a

 video and I can't touch the screen. Ok, what I find about work gloves guys is that these,

 I wear at the fingertips, right? I don't wear them when I'm doing knife work and I don't

 wear them when I'm doing axe work. Because if I'm using an axe and I'm wearing gloves

 I always manage to cut the top off this thumb. The thumb of the glove. Not my own thumb which

 I have never damaged. Ok, so let's have a look. Let's see what to do. How do you test

 the glove? I don't know. I'm going to pick something up. You know, they are quite dexterous.

 It is quite easy to pick stuff up with them, I'm surprised. What I'm going to do, now this

 is the glove test. The ultimate glove test. I'm going to put a coin sitting down somewhere

 and I'm going to try and pick them up. Pick that coin up. What have I got in my pocket?

 I have a couple of coins. I have a shiny pound coin. I have a 50 pence piece coin and I have

 a 10 pence piece. Now I reckon that's the one that's going to be hard and I'm going

 to lay them out on a stump here and we'll see how we get on. Pound, 50 pence, 10 pence.

 This could quite possibly be the ultimate glove test. Here we go. One pound. Got it.

 50 pence. Oh, I had it and I dropped it. Now come on Bruno, away, away. I'm going to have

 to concentrate for this one. Yeah, got the 50 Bruno. It's money. Got it. Got the 50 pence

 piece. This is the test guys. This is the test. Come on, you can do this. Got the 10

 pence piece. That was the absolute least scientific way I could think of to test a pair of gloves.
