I was hoping these would be my answer to a truly warm and waterproof mitten for toddlers and preschoolers. They are definitely warmer than other mittens we have tried (llbean, rei, landsend), but they are still wet all the way through when my kid comes in after playing in the snow.

I give these gloves a solid meh. I'm a skier and they are waterproof so they have that going for them. I just wish I didn't feel like I was wearing space gloves on my hands. They are too thick for my liking and I feel all bumbly while wearing them

While the sizing is supposed to be age appropriate, we had to size down 2 sizes for our children. The mittens are great and very warm, highly recommend.

We also used the Oyuki ultra liners and that seemed to make it worse. Crazy, I can't find a glove that will keep fingers warm. Guess I will try heated gloves next. Although there isn't really any great reviews on those either

Her fingers were swollen and red from the cold. I felt terrible! Her hands were as cold as my hands without gloves. For the price I would have expected better performance. In summary, not warm enough for a Rocky Mountain winter

I’ve had the previous generation of this pair of gloves and they lasted me years and we’re amazing. Hoping the same for this pair.

But she complains of her hands being cold every time she wears these, even on days with temps in the 30s. Her Obermeyer gloves keep her warm on days with temps in the teens, but she needed an extra pair for home and school so I bought these. Won’t buy again and will stick with the Obermeyer.
